GoodBarber unveils the Beautiful Apps engine, the best DIY software to create native iPhone & Android apps (A FAIRE PAR GRANA)
After 6 months of R&D, GoodBarber will release during the MWC in Barcelona the new version of its tool to create native apps for iPhone and Android. Targeting non developers communities around food, sport, health, blogging, brands, culture, tech, travel … the new GoodBarber is a powerful tool to unify your web presence in a single app, and engage with your audience.
Starting at $16/month, GoodBarber empowers every content producer, from individuals to big companies to build and distribute a Beautiful App on App Store and Google Play.
Why Beautiful Apps ?
Contrary to its competitors, GoodBarber put a strong focus on design. Through a very intuitive interface, users can customize their apps with very fine details. They can start from scratch or choose an inspiration among 100 professional templates. The result is astonishing. It is hard to distinguish an app created by a mobile agency from one created with GoodBarber.
Free for designers.
To keep providing a wide variety of templates, GoodBarber proposes a win-win partnership to mobile designers. They create a generic template for the platform and get in return a free subscription to use GoodBarber (or cash back).
25 connectors … and counting.
Content is organized in different sections. Each section is dedicated to a type of media : articles, videos, photos, sounds, events, social networks, map, UGC...
Content is retrieved from third party platforms like WordPress, Typepad, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Flickr, Soundcloud, Google Calendar, Facebook, Twitter, … As for today, there are 25 connectors, but the team is extending the list.
In addition, GoodBarber offers mCMS features, allowing to create exclusive content, directly from the app’s backend.
Targeted push notifications.
GoodBarber targeting tool can deliver the right notification to the right user. Filters can be applied to target users by country, city, language, loyalty and device. “We wanted to give our users powerful tools to engage cleverly with their audience” said Jérôme Granados, GoodBarber’s VP Marketing. “For instance, you can schedule a notification in local time, so that you don’t disturb your user during the night. That kind of details makes a big difference.”
Know your users
GoodBarber choose to rely on third party service like Flurry and Google Analytics to provide quantitative stats. Meanwhile, the R&D team focused on providing useful qualitative information on the app’s user base. By capitalizing on social networks integration, GoodBarber can tell you who your readers are, how loyal they are and how powerful they can be to rely your voice to their followers.
