Many of you are wondering if their app will become successful. In this Friday talk, I'll show you 4 KPIs you can track in order to see if you are on the path to success or not.

## 1 - Downloads

Each time someone installs your app on its phone, we increase the downloads counter. But before downloading your app, the user needs to fall upon it on the App Store or Google Play. If you get downloads, it means that your marketing efforts to promote your app are providing good results.

## 2 - Traffic

Traffic will tell you if your app is used (or not) by those who have downloaded it. If you get traffic, it means that you have managed to engage with your readers. They find your app useful.

## 3 - Editorial

GoodBarber tells you what are the most popular sections and contents in your app. Use this information to adapt your content production accordingly, in order to satisfy even better your users.

## 4 - Demographics

This one is very helpful for those you want to monetize their app with advertising. From your backend, you can know who your users are. What their age and gender is, where they use your app from, which device they use to browse your content...
You will be able to build personae based on this information and deal with advertiser the right price for splashscreens and banners into your app.
