# Your Zeffy events and fundraisers now show up in your app

GoodBarber apps can now show a nonprofit's upcoming Zeffy events in a Calendar section, with one entry per date, and its donation forms, peer-to-peer fundraisers and memberships in an Article section. A nonprofit that runs its events and campaigns on Zeffy no longer has to copy them into its app by hand.

## Zeffy, two new sources for your nonprofit's app

**The short version.** Zeffy Events and Zeffy Campaigns are two extensions of GoodBarber, the no-code app builder, that read a nonprofit's campaigns on Zeffy. Zeffy Events fills a Calendar section with upcoming events, one entry per date when an event runs on several dates, each with a button that opens its Zeffy ticketing page in the app. Zeffy Campaigns fills an Article section with donation forms, peer-to-peer fundraisers and memberships: memberships open in the app, donations open in the phone's browser. You connect them with your Zeffy API key. Both are free for Content apps: each section counts as one of the extensions included in your plan.

Zeffy says more than 100,000 nonprofits have raised over $2 billion through its platform, in [an article published on June 16, 2026](https://www.zeffy.com/blog/nonprofit-statistics). Here is how the two extensions play out for a youth theater company that sells its show and raises funds on Zeffy.

## What happens when an event runs on several dates?

![](https://cmsphoto.ww-cdn.com/superstatic/41269/art/grande/98466925-68669907.jpg?v=1792740817.3032641)

The company's spring show plays on three evenings in April, sold through a single Zeffy ticketing form. In the Zeffy Events section of its GoodBarber app, the show appears three times, once per evening, filed by date. Each entry has the show's image and description, and a button that opens the Zeffy ticketing page inside the app.

When an evening is over, it leaves the calendar and the next one stays. Archived dates are not shown.

## Can supporters donate and join from the app?

Yes. The company's donation form, its peer-to-peer fundraiser and its membership appear in the Zeffy Campaigns section, each with its image, its description and a button. The membership button opens the Zeffy form inside the app. The donate button opens the Zeffy page in the phone's browser, because App Store rules require donations to happen outside the app.

The buttons follow the language of your Zeffy forms: "Donate" and "Join" for a form in English. You can set your own text in the section settings, for example "Support us". Archived and ended campaigns leave the section on their own.

## How do you get your Zeffy API key?

Only the owner of the Zeffy account can create the key:

1. In Zeffy, open Settings, then Integrations.
2. Choose to connect with the API, describe your project in a sentence, and click "Get my API key".
3. In your back office, add a Calendar section for events or an Article section for campaigns, and choose Zeffy.
4. Paste the key into the API Key field, then save the section.

The key opens your whole Zeffy account, donor data included, so keep it as safe as a password. The extension only reads your campaigns. Zeffy itself is open to registered nonprofits in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and Germany.

## How do you add Zeffy to your GoodBarber app?

The Zeffy extensions are available for Content apps. They are free, like YouTube: each Zeffy section counts as one of the extensions included in your plan. Open your back office and add a section, or start from the [Zeffy Events](https://www.goodbarber.com/extensions/zeffy-events/) and [Zeffy Campaigns](https://www.goodbarber.com/extensions/zeffy-campaigns/) pages of the Extension Store. Planning an app for your nonprofit? [Our nonprofit app page](https://www.goodbarber.com/nonprofit-app/) shows what else it can hold, and [what an event app costs in 2026](https://www.goodbarber.com/blog/how-much-does-an-event-app-cost-in-2026-real-prices-a1597/) compares the options and their prices.

These two extensions are part of seven we released together for nonprofits and churches: the others connect [HelloAsso](https://www.goodbarber.com/extensions/helloasso-events/), [Givebutter](https://www.goodbarber.com/extensions/givebutter-events/) and [Planning Center](https://www.goodbarber.com/extensions/planning-center/).

If your nonprofit needs something this version does not do, tell our support team from your back office. That is what the next version will be built on.
