# Recruitment agency app: job alerts by field, applications and booked screening calls

## Candidates hear about a new opening in their field when you post it, apply with their resume from their phone and book twenty minutes with the recruiter who covers that field; client companies send you their job brief through a short form.

Built without code, your agency's app runs as a web version and as native iPhone and Android apps: openings sorted by field, applications with a resume, screening calls booked into the right recruiter's calendar, and a form for employers who bring you a role to fill.

### The forklift driver looking for night work

After a first call, his recruiter put him in the app's "Logistics" group. The day you post a night-shift forklift opening, the notification goes to that group only. He applies right away, with a photo of his resume taken on his phone, and books twenty minutes with the logistics recruiter to talk it over.

### The HR director with an urgent opening

Her production supervisor leaves in three weeks. She opens the "Give us a role" form and enters the job title, the site, the salary range, the start date and how urgent it is. The brief reaches the agency by email; the manufacturing recruiter calls her to sharpen the profile, then writes the posting.

### The recruiter handling twenty openings

Each opening becomes an article in her field's section, with a reference number at the top that candidates copy into their application. An email flags each application, and the reference tells her which role it's for. Once a role is filled, she takes the article down: nobody applies to a closed opening.

## A forklift driver, an HR director, a recruiter

Thirty days free, no credit card needed: enough time to post your first openings and open your recruiters' calendars.

## What candidates find in the app

### Openings, field by field

One section per field, such as logistics, manufacturing, healthcare or accounting, and one article per role: duties, site, hours, contract type, start date, and the salary when the employer agrees to show it.

### Applying from their phone

A Form asks for their name, phone number, the opening's reference, when they can start and their resume. In the iPhone app, the resume goes as a photo; a PDF needs the web version or an Android phone.

### Open applications

Nothing that fits today? The same form, with the reference left blank, sends you their profile for roles still to come.

### Recruiters and their fields

One page per recruiter: the jobs they fill, the industries they know, and the section where candidates book a call with them.

### How a search unfolds

From the screening call to the employer's answer, each step explained in an article, including what to bring to the interview at the client's site.

## The screening call, booked by the candidate

### Twenty minutes with the recruiter for their field, with the target role and start date known in advance

Each recruiter has a booking section, cut into 20-minute slots and linked to their Google Calendar. Candidates pick the field, then a free time, and fill in the form: target role, the date they can start, phone number, a link to their online profile. No resume here: this form takes no files, and the resume already came in with the application. A two-hour minimum notice leaves you time to read the file before you call. Candidate and agency both get the confirmation by email; a candidate who signs elsewhere in the meantime cancels, and those twenty minutes go back into the app for someone else.

## Candidate or employer: two paths through the app

One is looking for a job, the other for someone to hire. They come in through different doors and expect different things from your agency.

| | Candidate | Client company |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| What brings them | An opening seen in the app or flagged by a notification | A role to fill, often in a hurry |
| What they send | Their application and resume, through a Form | Their job brief: title, location, salary, urgency |
| What they book | ✓ A 20-minute call with the recruiter | Nothing: the recruiter calls once the brief is read |
| What reaches their phone | ✓ New openings in their field, by notification | Nothing targeted: contact goes through the recruiter |
| What stays outside the app | Interviews at the client's site, the employment contract | The fee proposal, the agreement, the invoice |

The app never matches a resume to an opening: the recruiter reads, shortlists and presents candidates to the employer.

## Recruitment agency app: what recruiters ask

**### Can a candidate send a PDF resume from an iPhone?**

Not from the native iOS app: there, the Form's file field accepts a photo or a video, never a PDF. On an iPhone, candidates photograph their resume page by page, or finish applying on a computer, in the web version, which takes PDFs. On Android, the PDF goes through as is. Say so in the file field's label: fewer applications will reach you without a resume.

**### How do I alert candidates in one field when an opening goes up?**

Automatic push, which is free, sends a notification for every opening posted in a section, whatever the field. To reach only forklift drivers, add Authentication and User groups: candidates create an account, you file them under their field's group from the back office, and the notification for the opening goes to that group alone, right away or at a time you schedule.

**### Can each recruiter have their own time slots?**

Yes: one booking section per recruiter, linked to their own Google Calendar. Candidates open "Manufacturing – Mark" or "Healthcare – Ines" and only see their free times. Mark spending the morning at a client's? He blocks those hours in Google Calendar on his phone, and the app stops offering them. The one thing all sections have in common is the booking form.

**### Can employers give us a role to fill through the app?**

Yes, through a second Form, "Give us a role": job title, location, salary offered, start date, urgency, and the contact's name and phone number. An email alerts you to each brief, which the back office keeps. Nothing shows up in the app as a result: the posting candidates will read is one you write, often without naming the client.

**### Does the app screen resumes?**

No. It doesn't read resumes, rank profiles or compute any match with your openings. Each application reaches you with its reference and its file; shortlisting, calling and presenting to the client remain the recruiter's job.

**### What happens to candidates' data?**

Applications reach you by email and stay stored in the back office; the CSV export lets you keep your own file. How long you keep them, and how you inform candidates, depends on your own policies and your country's rules: set them out on a page of the app, and add a checkbox to the form confirming the candidate has read it.

**### Does my applicant tracking system become redundant with the app?**

No. The app keeps no talent pool, no application tracking and no history of submittals, and it connects to no software. It posts openings, collects applications and job briefs, and fills your recruiters' calendars; whatever belongs in your system, you enter there yourself.
