## Pay in 3 or 4 installments

Let your customers spread the cost of their purchases.

Scalapay is a buy now, pay later solution of Italian origin. It lets your customers pay for their purchases in 3 or 4 installments.

To pay for a purchase, your customer selects Scalapay at checkout. They are redirected to the Scalapay payment page, where they choose the number of installments and complete their purchase, then return to your store, where the payment confirmation is displayed.

By letting your customers split the payment, you give them more flexibility when they buy in your e-commerce application.

## Activate Scalapay in your application

To offer Scalapay as a payment method in your store, you must first activate it in your Stripe account. This activation is entirely managed from your Stripe interface.

Please also make sure that the **Stripe Extended** extension is installed in your GoodBarber application.

Once these two elements are in place, Scalapay is offered to your customers as a payment option at checkout.
