# Resolve Android error 'APK not zip-aligned'

## 1. The message from Google Play

You sent your aab file to Google Play, who responded with the message below (may be translated in your own language) :

## 2. Cause and solution

This message appeared because you tried to send the [.apk ad-hoc (test) file](https://www.goodbarber.com/help/test-your-app-before-publishing-r7/understand-the-android-ad-hoc-version-for-testing-a324/) of your Android application that was not accepted by Google Play.

**Google Play only accepts the .aab production file that you receive at the end of the Android submission process.**

**In the menu Publish > Publication > Android, click on Submit my application.**
You can now get the .aab production file.

If you are in the trial period, you must first choose a plan and subscribe to GoodBarber in order to get this file.
