# Prevent PWA search engine indexing

There are 2 different ways to block the indexation of your PWA by the search engines.
You can:

- Uncheck the indexation authorization
- Lock your PWA

## 1. Uncheck the indexation authorisation

To block the indexation of your PWA by the search engine, refer to the following steps:

1. In the menu **Sales Channels > PWA,**click on SEO
2. On the new window disable the indexation authorisation.
3. Click on "**Save"**

*​Warning, this means your PWA won't be directly accessible anymore. Your users will need the URL to access it.*

## 2. Lock your PWA

Locking your PWA is another solution to block its indexation by the search engines.
