What's new at GoodBarber? May 2025

This month at GoodBarber, we've mostly focused on fine-tuning things. No huge new features this time around, but plenty of bug fixes and behind-the-scenes optimizations.

GoodBarber eCommerce App

  • Collections
    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash when opening a product with no thumbnail  Android
    • Fixed an issue that lead to a 404 page when clicking on a product link or opening a product detail from push notifications.  Android
    • Fixed an issue where the scroll position is not restored when coming back from a product detail page PWA
       
  • Checkout page
    • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the app when entering the page iOS.
       
  • Home section
    • In Content widgets using the Immersive Cards Banner and Visual Cards templates, fixed an issue where a single displayed item was not centered properly within the widget  Android
    • Fixed issue of click on content not working. It happened when multiple widgets used the same source of content.  Android
       
  • Sound section
    • Fixed the height of the player on some devices  Android
       
  • Other fixes and improvements
    • We now are compatible with 16KB page size devices #Update  Android
    • Fixed an issue that prevented some YouTube videos from playing correctly in app  Android
    • Fixed an issue that caused the application to crash depending on some embedded SDKs. iOS.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause some texts to be displayed reversed using Right-to-left languages. iOS.

GoodBarber Classic App

  • Home section
    • In Article widgets using the Classic template, fixed an issue that could cause the title to not be correctly positioned. iOS.
    • In Content widgets using the Immersive Cards Banner and Visual Cards templates, fixed an issue where a single displayed item was not centered properly within the widget.  Android
    • Fixed issue of click on content not working. It happened when multiple widgets used the same source of content. Android
       
  • Article section
    • In lists using the Immersive Template, fixed an issue that could cause a crash. iOS.
       
  • Sound section
    • Podcast: Fixed the height of the audio player on some devices.  Android
       
  • Favorite section
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the 'Edit' button from working on iPaddevices. iOS.
    • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect colors displayed on the detail page of bookmarked events and videos when they were bookmarked from a Search section. iOS.
       
  • Internal Ad Server extension
    • In the Home section, fixed an issue that could cause Advertising widgets to have the incorrect size on iPad devices. iOS.
       
  • Authentication extension
    • ​In user profile edition page, now we allow accents in the LinkedInsocial account dialog PWA  Android
       
  • Membership extension
    • ​Fixed an issue that caused disconnected users to receive push notifications when subscribed users were being targeted iOS.
       
  • Other fixes and improvements
    • We now are compatible with 16KB page size devices  Android
    • Fixed an issue that prevented some YouTube videos from playing correctly in app  Android
    • Fixed an issue that caused the application to crash depending on some embedded SDKs iOS.
    • The Firebase SDK has been upgraded to the 11.11.0 version iOS.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause some texts to be displayed reversed using Right-to-left languages iOS.
