What's new at GoodBarber? April 2020

This month we offer you several new features, especially on the Shopping apps side.
 
As you know, we strive to constantly develop our features, especially when they come from your suggestions. Many of you have asked us and we listened : Mercado Pago is now available as a payment gateway in your Shopping App.

​Launched in 2003, Mercado Pago is an Argentina-based digital payment platform available to consumers and businesses exclusively in Latin America. Since its launch, Mercado Pago has been rolled out across the region in eight key countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during April, 2020.

GoodBarber Shopping App

 

  • Home section

    • In widgets Newsletter, you can now display a link to the terms and condition page.   iOS Android PWA

    • In widgets HTML, fixed an issue that caused links to section of the app not working in some cases. iOS

    • In widgets with Minimal template, fixed an issue that caused the pager smaller. iOS

    • In widgets Promo banner, fixed an issue that caused the text being scrollable when he's too long. PWA

    • In the widget Newsletter, fixed a translation issue. PWA

  • Products list section

    • Now the title of the collection is displayed in the header, when this section is not in the navigation mode. - Android

    • Fixed an issue that caused the thumbnail being cut when you were setting on the point of interest of your image on the top left corner. Android

    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash of the application when there's no image on the product. PWA

  • Product detail section

    • Fixed an issue that caused the options selector being displayed with a wrong background color. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused errors on the AMP Shopping pages. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused the font size of link element being wrong. PWA

    • Users can now select the product quantity they want and add it to their cart  iOS Android PWA
       

  • Checkout page 

    • New payment gateway Mercado Pago added. Android PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused the Phone number field being mandatory.   Android

    • Fixed an issue that caused the color of the Terms of services checkbox being always black when checked. -  Android

    • Fixed an issue that caused the color of the Terms of services checkbox being always white when checked. PWA
      You can now change the wording of the "in-store pickup" option   iOS   Android   PWA

  • Blog add-on

    • In article sections, fixed an issue that caused the app crashing when the user was trying to save the image on the device. iOS

    • In article sections, fixed an issue that could cause images missing in the detail view. iOS

    • In article sections, fixed an issue that caused link in images not working in detail view.   Android

    • In the detail page of article sections, fixed an issue that caused the PDF link being hidden by the toolbar. PWA
       

  • Other fixes and improvements

    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash of the application (issue caused by Google https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/154855417#comment458 ).  Android

    • Remove last occurrences of UIWebView that caused a warning when submitting the app to the AppStore.   iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused images not being displayed when they have a character with accent in the URL.   iOS

  • Authentication add-on

    • Now you can add a date field into the profile of your users. iOS Android  PWA

    • On the Sign up page, the email keyboard is now displayed when you click on the mail field. iOS

    • On the sign up page, fixed an issue that caused the view being automatically scrolled to top when clicking on the first field. iOS

    • The Login with Facebook button has been updated according to the Facebook guidelines. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused a wording issue on the Apple Sign in button. iOS

    • On the login view, fixed an issue that caused the logo not being centered on iPad Pro devices. iOS

    • In the profile edition page, fixed an issue that caused a "shadow" being displayed over the fields. PWA
