What's new at GoodBarber? June 2020

This month we have something new for everyone! Among the developments made we offer two new features that will delight creators of content apps as well as shopping apps!  


Let's start with the Classic apps and the new design. Our ambition has always been to provide you with a product at the cutting edge of technology and mobile user experience.  
As the style of the action buttons we offer you is no longer satisfactory, we have updated the design to keep your apps up to date with the current design trends! The update will give an excellent refresh to the user interface of your apps :) 


For the Shopping Apps, we continue our efforts by offering a new add-on for your Shopping Cart section: the "Cart Reminder " add-on. 
This reminder is an easy and simple way to encourage your clients to complete their purchases, by showing them the products they have left in their cart.

GoodBarber Shopping App

  • General
    • The new add-on “Cart reminder” is now available for your Shopping App 

  • Home section

    • In navigation Widgets, fixed an issue that caused a gradient being displayed on images when this gradient should be hidden. iOS

    • In navigation Widgets, fixed an issue that caused a border being displayed on the last item. Android

    • In widget with Minimal templates, fixed an issue that caused the content alignment chosen not being applied. PWA

    • In navigation Widget with Small Carousel templates, fixed an issue that caused the widget not being displayed when there was only one link inside (on iOS devices). - PWA

  • Products list section

    • Fixed an issue that caused some product images not being displayed. Android

  • Product detail page

    • Fixed an issue that caused the product image not being centered on first view opening. iOS

    • Now product informations are properly reset when leaving the page to avoid cache issues. PWA

  • Bag section

    • Fixed an issue that caused a 404 page when the user was trying to open the bag section. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash when the user was having an out of stock product in the bag. Android

  • Checkout page

    • The countries & regions management of the address form has been improved. iOS Android PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash of the application when using Mercado Pago payment method. Android

  • Grid navigation mode

    • Fixed an issue that caused the selected element not properly highlighted. PWA

  • Slate navigation mode

    • Fixed an issue that caused the selected element not properly highlighted. PWA

  • Swipe navigation mode

    • Fixed an issue that caused the scroll not working when the app is installed on Home Screen on iOS 13 devices. PWA

  • Blog add-on

    • Fixed an issue that caused some links opening the list of articles instead of the web browser. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the application when opening the detail view. Android

    • In the detail view, fixed an issue that caused the number of comments displayed on the bullet being wrong. Android

  • Other fixes and improvements 

    • In the header of the app, fixed an issue that caused the close button being displayed instead of the menu button. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused custom icons not being aligned with other icons. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused some texts in the app being cut. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused an Apple rejection with the ERROR ITMS-90023: Missing required icon file. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused phone links not properly handled on iOS devices, when PWA is installed on home screen. PWA

  • Couponing add-on

    • Fixed an issue that caused the redeem button title being wrong. Android

  • Authentication add-on

    • In the User profile section, fixed an issue that caused shortcuts being displayed in the header. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused the login being editable by putting white spaces. iOS PWA

    • Now a maximum size constraint is being applied on the profile picture upload to avoid timeout errors (on iOS devices). PWA

  • Chat add-on

    • On iPad devices, fixed an issue that caused the application crashing when the user was clicking on the create a new conversation button. iOS

  • Internal ad network add-on

    • In widget Ads, fixed an issue that caused the ad disappearing when the user scrolls. iOS

  • Other fixes and improvements 

    • You can now set in the backoffice that your app is targeted for kids. In this case, your app will not have any stats services, ads services, or chat section. iOS

    • The Facebook Audience SDK has been updated to the 5.9 version. Android
