Requirements

Two accounts are all you need to get started.

A GoodBarber account

With at least one app.

Works with any app — Shop, CMS, Community or Membership features all supported.
The connector is scoped to a single app — the one tied to the API key you use.

A Claude account

Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.

Some Claude plans may limit the number of custom connectors — check Anthropic's current plan details.
On Team / Enterprise, adding a connector at the organization level may require Owner permissions — see your Claude admin settings.

Setup — add the connector

Connecting takes about a minute. No developer setup required.

Open Connectors in Claude
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors (or Customize → Connectors).
Add a custom connector
Click Add custom connector.
Paste the GoodBarber MCP server URL

Leave the OAuth fields empty
Leave the OAuth Client ID / Secret fields empty — GoodBarber registers your client automatically (Dynamic Client Registration).
Click Add
Click Add. The GoodBarber sign-in screen appears.
Enter your API key and authorize
On the GoodBarber sign-in screen, enter an API key from your GoodBarber back office. Each key is tied to one app — that's the app Claude will manage. Authorize access.
You're done
GoodBarber tools are now available in your Claude conversations.

Your session is scoped to the single app tied to your API key. The tools you see depend on the services enabled on that app (Shop, CMS, Community, Membership).

Catalog & products

Claude asks for your confirmation before any sensitive action — creating, updating, deleting, or sending a push.

Security & privacy

Your connection is private, scoped to a single app, and revocable at any time.

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE

Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your GoodBarber API key is never shared with Claude.

Scoped to a single app

Each connection is scoped to a single app — Claude can only access the app you authorized, never other GoodBarber accounts.

Revoke any time

You can revoke access at any time from your GoodBarber account, or by removing the connector in Claude.
