Stripe Extended: new payment services for your eCommerce app

The payment stage is often the most sensitive part of the online purchasing process. It's here that hesitations arise and cart abandonments multiply. The reason for this? Every customer has their own habits and preferences, and if their preferred payment method isn't available, they're likely to abandon their purchase.

To maximize sales, it's essential to offer the payment methods best suited to your audience. A checkout aligned with local practices is not a detail, it's a direct conversion lever.

The eCommerce apps created with GoodBarber already integrate a wide choice of payment methods , to meet the most common uses. This offer is regularly enriched, to keep pace with changing habits and enable everyone to adopt the solutions preferred by their customers.

Today, new services complete the existing list and further extend the possibilities.

Local and international solutions tailored to each market

Among the options now available are several local and international solutions, each catering to specific uses.

Here's an overview of the new services you can activate in your eCommerce app:

  • Alma - a Buy Now, Pay Later solution that allows your customers to pay in installments (2, 3 or 4), while guaranteeing immediate payment. Available in several European countries, including France, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands.
  • Amazon Pay - your customers pay using the information already stored in their Amazon account. Fast and reassuring for those who use the marketplace regularly.
  • Billie - designed for B2B, this solution offers deferred payment for businesses (up to 30 days), while paying you immediately. Available on several European markets.
  • BLIK - widely used in Poland, customers generate a unique code in their banking application, then validate the transaction in a matter of seconds via mobile notification.
  • Cash App Pay - enables Cash App users to pay directly from their balance or a linked card, by scanning a QR code or via mobile redirection.
  • Link - wallet developed by Stripe. It stores your customers' cards and addresses to offer conversion-optimized, one-click payment.
  • MobilePay - widely adopted in Denmark and Finland. Users confirm their purchase from the MobilePay app, with reinforced authentication.
  • Revolut Pay - gives Revolut users (and others) access to fast, secure payment, with instant confirmation in the Revolut app.
  • TWINT - Switzerland's leading payment method. Customers validate their purchase by scanning a QR code or from the TWINT app, with real-time confirmation.
  • WeChat Pay - a must-have in China, integrated into the WeChat app (over a billion users). Payment is made by scanning a QR code and validating in the app, with support for multiple currencies.

How do you activate these options in your GoodBarber app?

The integration of these additional payment methods relies on Stripe. The first step is to connect your Stripe account to your GoodBarber eCommerce app, if you haven't already done so. Once this configuration is in place, you need to activate the Stripe Extended extension in the GoodBarber Extension Store. This extension gives you access to all the services offered by Stripe beyond the classic credit card payment.

Services are then activated directly in your Stripe interface. Here, you can select the solutions you wish to offer your customers - whether it's a mobile wallet like WeChat Pay, a local solution like BLIK or TWINT, or a fractional payment service like Alma.

As soon as your choices are saved, they are automatically available in your app's checkout process. Your customers see the new options and can pay for their order using the payment method they're most familiar with.

A wide range of solutions

Thanks to integration with Stripe, your GoodBarber eCommerce app can offer a wide variety of local and international payment services: Alipay, Alma, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Billie, BLIK, Cash App Pay, EPS, Google Pay, iDEAL, Klarna, Link, MobilePay, Przelewy24, Revolut Pay, TWINT and WeChat Pay.

These services are complemented by the classic payment methods already available: payment by credit card (via Stripe), payment via PayPal, as well as offline payment (cash, cheque, bank transfer, or any other method managed directly with your customers).

This way, you have a complete set of options , covering global solutions, local preferences and traditional payments, to reduce friction at checkout and maximize your conversions.

Siri Actions: ask your GoodBarber iOS app for its latest article or video

Siri Actions now answers two new questions: the latest article and the latest video in a section of a GoodBarber iOS app. Siri names the item and offers to open it by voice. They reach every app with its next store update. Siri Actions is the set of questions a GoodBarber iOS app answers out loud, for newspapers, radio stations, schools, organizations and any app that publishes content. Its first question, "What's new", gives an overview of your home screen. When we launched it in September 2026, we said the next one would be the latest article in a section. Here it is, and the latest video comes with it. Each goes straight to one item and offers to open it. Your audience goes from a question to the article in a single conversation, without searching for it.
