IAB Europe has finalized v2.0 of its Transparency and Consent Framework developed with IAB Tech Lab and mutual member companies. Google  fully supports TCF v2.0.

The aim is to provide transparency between Publishers (Site owner displaying ads), ad networks, and Vendors (ads supplier) by using a Consent Management Platform (CMP) that is verified by the IAB.

GoodBarber implemented Google's CMP called Funding choices* for your apps to comply with Google's EU User Consent policy .
*Funding choices can be set for your GoodBarber apps only when using AdMob, Google Ad Manager or Google AdSense.

Setting Funding choices as CMP on your GoodBarber apps is mandatory for Google to display ads on your apps via AdMob, Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense to your European visitors.

Your app will display this consent form (Popup) when opening the app to all your final users to help with consent gathering for the General Data Protection Regulation for ad serving purposes.

If you set Founding Choice, a popup form will appear and replace your cookie warning .

Follow the steps below to set Funding choices.

Funding Choices has been integrated into the Ad Manager, AdMob, and AdSense Privacy & messaging pages to help you manage privacy choices, monetize your content, and communicate with users to gather consent.

1. Sign in to AdMob or Ad Manager , click the Privacy & messaging tab in the left menu*
2. Follow instructions of those documentations to create your messages for your apps:
- AdMob: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/10113207
- Ad Manager: https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/10076004

*You can't edit/create your GDPR and CCPA privacy messages in AdSense, you need to go to Ad Manager to manage them.

Manage GDPR ad partners

Under the Google EU User Consent Policy , you must identify each ad partner that receives the personal data of users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK and provide information about the use of that data. Ad partners (including Google and other ad networks, ad partners, vendors, bidders and ad sources) use data about your users, for example, to show them personalised ads or to report on conversions.
When using the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework, you select ad partners while configuring your GDPR settings in the Privacy & messaging tool.

Follow instructions of those documentations to manage GDPR ad partners:
