Your programs, reserved for your subscribers

Free sessions to discover, full programs for subscribers

Choose the videos everyone can watch and the ones you reserve for subscribers, with at least ten reserved pieces of content. Non-subscribers can see a preview, enough to make them want more without opening everything. All subscribers get the same access: you offer several subscription lengths, not several levels.

Subscribe in one tap on the App Store or Google Play

Subscriptions are bought in the native app, with the client's Apple or Google account

No payment form, no card to type: your subscribers subscribe in the iOS and Android apps, with the account they already use. From the web app, they are invited to download the app to subscribe, and can then sign in there. A free trial is possible.

Recurring revenue, more predictable

A subscription renews for as long as the subscriber keeps it

Monthly or yearly, subscriptions renew automatically, which one-off sales never offer. Your subscribers stay free to cancel at any time. GoodBarber takes no commission on this revenue; Apple and Google take theirs, 15% in most cases.

A notification with every new program

Your subscribers come back when you publish

Publish a new program and a notification goes out to your subscribers automatically. Schedule your challenge or back-to-training reminders too. In the native apps, your audio sessions keep playing when the subscriber switches to another app.

Launching your program app: what you configure, in practice

Three settings before you open subscriptions.
  1. Your content

Sort your videos by level, goal and length, and choose the ones you reserve for subscribers: ten at least.
  2. Your subscriptions

Create a monthly subscription, a yearly one or both, with their prices on the App Store and on Google Play, and a free trial if you want one.
  3. The web app and the domain name

Memberships needs the web app switched on and a domain name installed; reserved content opens once the stores have approved the app.

AI in your program app

Three concrete uses, with their price.
To answer

An assistant that answers from your program guides

The Chatbot answers your members' questions from your published articles, such as the guides that go with your video programs, in the language of the question. A non-subscriber only gets answers drawn from your free content; a subscriber, from the whole catalog.
$35/month
To extend

A 30-day challenge in your app

Describe the section in the back office, for example a daily challenge with a streak that grows every day, and the AI Extension Builder generates it in your app, in your design.
Free
To operate

Publish this week's program from Claude or ChatGPT

The MCP server connects your app to the AI assistant you already use: you ask it to publish the video and schedule the notification, you confirm, it runs on your app.

Building a fitness subscription app: frequently asked questions

Can I sell workout programs by subscription in my own app?

Yes. With Memberships, your clients buy a monthly or yearly subscription in the iOS and Android apps, with their Apple or Google account. You reserve at least ten pieces of content for subscribers, and all subscribers get the same access.

How much do Apple and Google take?

Apple and Google take their commission on every subscription, 15% in most cases; Apple takes 30% during a subscriber's first year unless you are in its small business program. GoodBarber takes nothing.

Can people subscribe from the web app?

No: subscriptions are bought in the iOS and Android apps. From the web app, visitors are invited to download the app; once subscribed, they can sign in to the web app.

Can I offer several subscription levels?

No: there is a single level of access. You can, however, offer several lengths, monthly and yearly, each with its own price on each store.

Can I sell my gym classes or sessions in the app?

No: in-app purchase only sells access to content. Classes and sessions are paid outside the app, in your software or at the desk; Appointment booking lets clients book a one-to-one session.
