Create a meditation app
Meditation subscription app: your guided audio sessions, for beginners and for deeper practice
Your practitioners find your meditations in the app that bears your name, listen with the screen off or without a network, and subscribe from their phone to open the whole library.
Your meditation teaching becomes an iPhone and Android app, put together without code: a free discovery path, guided sessions reserved for subscribers, a practice timer and a notification with every new session.
Free 30-day trial - No credit card required

A library of sessions, opened by the subscription
Guided meditations, breathing practices, teachings: every session published in the app, free or reserved
Upload your meditations to a Podcasts section and arrange them the way you teach: by length, theme, time of day or tradition. Session by session, you choose between open access and subscriber access, and you can change your mind whenever you like. One subscription, monthly or yearly, opens the whole library; sales start once ten pieces of content are locked.

A path for beginners, free for everyone
Seven short sessions to discover the practice, before you offer the rest
Many people arrive having never meditated. Keep a first series free, five to ten minutes a day, explaining posture, breath and what to do with passing thoughts. At the end of the week, the subscription page presents what comes next; on first launch, the app's welcome guide shows where to begin.

Screen locked, airplane mode: the session goes on
Audio keeps running on iPhone and Android, and sessions download for practice off the grid
An option in the Privacy Center keeps the audio playing when the practitioner locks the phone or switches apps: eyes close, the screen goes dark, your voice stays. Once bookmarked, a session downloads and can be played offline, on retreat, on the train or in airplane mode.

Three uses of AI in a meditation app
What each one does, and what it costs.
To practice
A meditation timer in your colors
Describe it in the back office: a length to choose, a singing bowl at the start and at the end, an interval bell. The AI Extension Builder builds it as a section of the app; you fine-tune it by chatting with it.
Free
To guide
“Which session when my mind is racing?”
The Chatbot takes its answers from the written notes of your sessions, published as articles, and gives the link to each. Without a subscription, a practitioner only hears what the free notes say.
$35/month
To publish
Sunday's session prepared with ChatGPT
Linked to ChatGPT or Claude through the MCP server, the app can be run by conversation. You give the week's theme; the assistant writes the session notes, prepares the notification announcing it, then waits for your approval.
Included
Your written teachings, next to the sessions
Texts from the tradition, the daily reading, the commentary on a practice
An articles section holds what the voice leaves unsaid: a text from the tradition you pass on, the daily reading, a commentary on a difficult meditation. Reserve them or not, like the sessions; each new piece can trigger an automatic notification to your practitioners.

Opening your meditation app: four settings
In this order, from the back office.
The Podcasts section
Load your audio files, then sort them by theme and by length. The discovery path
Keep the first sessions free; lock the others, ten at least. The subscription
One price at Apple, one at Google, a monthly or yearly length, and a trial period if you want one.The notifications
Each new session sends its own push; your practice appointments get a scheduled message.
The meditation teacher
The students of her evening sits find the guided sessions in the app, to practice alone between two meetings.
The spiritual practice center
Sunday teachings in audio, texts from the tradition as articles: practitioners who live far away subscribe to follow the center.
The mindfulness coach
When the guidance happens in groups, over several weeks, an app organized by cohort suits better than a subscription.

The price of a meditation subscription app
Premium gives you the iPhone and Android apps; to sell access, you add Memberships to it, which Pro already contains. No bandwidth bill for your sessions; storage capacity follows the plan you pick.
| Premium · iPhone, Android and web version | $55 /month, billed yearly |
| Memberships option, on Premium | $49 /month |
| Pro · Memberships included | $105 /month, billed yearly |
Apple and Google retain part of each subscription, usually 15%; GoodBarber retains none. Your developer accounts are paid separately, to each of the two.

Meditation subscription app: your questions
Can I offer a beginner program without charging for it?
Yes: keep the discovery sessions free and lock the rest. Beginners practice for a few days, then subscribe if they want to go on; the first-launch guide can point them to that path.
Can I sell two plans, one for beginners and one for deeper practice?
No: there is only one plan, and every subscriber opens exactly the same sessions. What you set is the length, monthly or yearly, and the price on each store.
Can meditations I already release as a podcast become paid?
Not the ones that come in through an imported feed: they stay free in the app. To reserve a session, upload it straight into GoodBarber; both kinds live side by side without trouble.
Can a meditation app promise to reduce anxiety?
Present your sessions for what they are, a meditation practice. They replace neither a treatment nor a doctor's advice, and the app must not suggest otherwise: say so in its description and in the notes of the sessions about stress.
What do Apple and Google take from a subscription?
Usually 15%. Apple goes up to 30% over a new subscriber's first twelve months, unless you join its program for small businesses. GoodBarber takes nothing.
Which plan should I choose to sell meditations?
Either Premium plus the Memberships extension, or the Pro plan on its own. To sell, you also need to switch on the web app and install your own domain name on it; the subscription itself is purchased in the downloaded app.
GoodBarber puts your guided meditations in an app under your name and sells them by subscription, with no GoodBarber commission
Reserved audio sessions, a free discovery path, listening with the screen locked and offline, a practice timer, written teachings, a push with every session.
