How to manage the GoodBarber CMS

The Content list

The GoodBarber CMS keeps all your app's content in one place: Content, then Content list. Every article, photo, video, sound, event and place is here, whatever its section, the newest first.

From this list, you find any item, move articles to another section, change their status, and get them back after a deletion.

Find content

To find content, open Filters. It shows one status at a time… for instance Draft, for the articles you haven't published yet.

Only the drafts are left. The cross next to the filter clears it.

This menu keeps a single type of content, such as articles, photos or events… and this one, a single section. Choose Global.

Move articles

Two stories about the city ended up in Global, when they belong in Local.

Tick both. A bar appears, to act on all the ticked items at once.

Open Move to and tick Local. It offers the sections of the same type, with their categories.

Click OK… and both articles leave Global for Local, where your app now lists them.

Each section also opens its own list from My App, Structure: here, with Edit the content.

Statuses

The badge gives each item's status. Published items are in your app. Drafts and Not listed items stay out of its lists, and Delayed ones are scheduled for the date below.

Click a badge to change the status, here to Not listed.

The article keeps its place in the list… but your app no longer shows it.

To bring it back, choose Published.

Trash Can

The red bin deletes an item… once you confirm. It goes to the Trash Can, not away for good.

Content, Trash Can keeps your deleted items, with the section each one comes from.

Search finds an item by its title, as in the Content list.

To restore one, tick it and choose a status, here Published.

Careful: here, the bin above the list deletes the ticked items for good.

Click OK, and the article goes back to its section… and to your app.

Content changes apply right away: you don't need Publish my project for them. Writing articles and using categories each have their own video.
