Tutorials sorted by season and by month

What to do in the garden right now, on video

Organize your videos the way a gardener plans the year: late-winter sowing, spring transplanting, summer pruning, autumn harvest and mulching. Each tutorial shows the task in the garden, then sums it up in a few lines. A few videos stay free to get you known; the full season is for subscribers.

The sowing calendar, and the notification at the right time

Scheduled pushes, aimed at the regions where it is time to sow

Publish your calendar month by month, crop by crop, then schedule the notifications ahead: “Time to sow tomatoes under cover.” Each send can target a geographic zone, a region or an area drawn on the map, so the gardener in the south is not told at the same moment as the one up north.

The gardening magazine, in the same app

Plant profiles, features and garden visits, next to the videos

You mostly publish articles? The app also works as a gardening magazine: growing guides, features on soil or watering, garden visits. Locked articles show their opening to everyone and open up to subscribers, with the same subscription as the videos.

AI in the vegetable patch

Three concrete uses, and their price.
To plan

An interactive vegetable garden planner

Describe the section: the user enters their beds, the tool suggests the companion planting and rotations you recommend. You set the rules; the AI Extension Builder writes the section and inserts it into the app.

Garden questions, handled from your guides

“Why are my zucchini leaves turning white?” The Chatbot draws the answer from your published guides; until they subscribe, a gardener only gets answers based on your open pages.

This week's video, sent from Claude

Thanks to the MCP server, your app takes instructions from Claude or ChatGPT: publish the tutorial, schedule its notification; you confirm and it is done.

The gardener's surgery

Subscribers send a photo of a sick plant, you answer for everyone

A form collects their photos and questions: a yellowing rose, seedlings damping off, a fruit tree to prune. Each month, you pick the most telling cases and answer them in an article that benefits every subscriber.

The gardener on video

Short videos stay public; full seasonal series go to subscribers.

The gardening magazine

It keeps its features and growing guides for subscribers, and announces each issue with a notification.

The landscaper

If you look after clients' gardens and take appointments, the booking app for gardening services is the one for you.
App for gardeners

Three gardeners, three uses of the app

Your sowing calendar is ready? You get a month's free trial to build the app, with no card to enter.

What a gardening subscription app costs

Only native apps sell subscriptions: Premium then takes the Memberships option, which Pro counts among its features. Targeted notifications, the Form, the AI Extension Builder: no extra charge to plan for.
Premium · iOS and Android apps, web app$55 /month, billed yearly
Memberships, added to Premium$49 /month
Pro · subscriptions among its features$105 /month, billed yearly
The developer accounts at Apple and Google are a separate expense, paid to each.

Gardening app: frequently asked questions

Can sowing notifications take the region into account?

Yes. You can aim a push at a country, a region or an area you draw on the map, and send it right away or on the scheduled date.

I publish a gardening magazine made of articles: is this app right for me?

Yes. Articles, guides and features lock just like videos, behind the same subscription, and each issue can be announced by an automatic notification.

Can I sell seeds or plants?

No, the subscription gives access to your content and nothing else. Seeds, plants and tools are sold elsewhere, for instance in the eCommerce app GoodBarber also offers.

Can I offer a free trial?

Yes: you set a trial period on your subscription, configured in each store; it applies to new subscribers.

What share of subscriptions goes to the stores?

Apple and Google ordinarily keep 15%; Apple goes to 30% for a year on each new subscriber if you have not signed up for its small business program. GoodBarber keeps nothing.

Which plan for a gardening app?

Plan-wise, the garden goes through Premium plus the subscription option, or through Pro, where it is already listed. The Standard plan, which only publishes a web app, does not sell subscriptions.
