Scan your past issues and publish one per article in an Archives section, sorted by decade: the contents stay readable by all, and the issue's PDF is attached. Lock the article, and the PDF disappears for non-subscribers; subscribers download it and read it offline. The 1987 issue on the great flood can be read again.

Old postcards, glass plates, class photos from 1930: publish them in articles, one piece or one series at a time. The first image and its introduction stay visible; the others, full size, with caption and source, sit in the paragraphs reserved for subscribers. Can we give the journal's authors access?
Yes: from the back office, you assign a gifted subscription to each author or volunteer, for as long as you like. Readers subscribe in the app, monthly or yearly.
Can we sell our old photographs in a reserved gallery?
No, a gallery section stays public. Publish each photo or series in an article and place the images in the reserved paragraphs, after the preview: the subscription is what opens them.
Our journal also covers culture and society: do we need another app?
No. Create sections for traditions, social movements or daily life alongside the historical periods; the same subscription opens everything.
Is the PDF of a past issue protected?
Attached to a locked article, it is hidden from non-subscribers. Once downloaded, it stays on the subscriber's device, like a printed issue on a shelf.
How many articles do we need to launch the subscription?
At least ten reserved items: ten past issues will do, once the web app is running and your domain name connected.
Which plan for a history journal?
