How to stream live video in your app

A Live Video section brings your live broadcasts into your app: a news show, an event, a match, at the hours you choose.

In My App, Structure, click Add a section… then search for video to find the Live Video card.

Point at it to see the screen it adds: a player for your live stream. Click Add.

Name the section… and paste the address of your stream: an HTTPS link to an HLS playlist, ending in .m3u8.

Android plays the same stream, unless you enter another address. Then click Add.

The section joins your menu, with a play button… that opens your live stream full screen.

In Edit the design, give the stream a title and choose the player's color.

Then prepare the Off Air page, with a text and an image… that your users see when you're not broadcasting. The Preview button shows it.

In the section's settings, you can change the addresses, and set your on-air hours… in your audience's time zone.

Repeat them every day or on chosen days, then save. Outside these hours, your app shows the Off Air page.

The section and its settings reach your app once you publish it, with Publish my project.
