An executive's business day

Three meetings between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lunch between the last two. The assistant books the Full day section and fills in the itinerary field: each address with its time, the wait on site, then the drive back to headquarters.

A wedding day

The couple reaches out eight months before the date, through the quote form: times of the ceremony and the cocktail hour, addresses, older guests to take home at the end of the night. Once the quote is signed, an all-day event in your Google Calendar closes your sections for that date.

Saturday night out

Dinner at 8 p.m., a concert afterward, home around midnight. The couple books the Evening section and notes the restaurant's address, the venue's and the announced end time; during the show, you wait nearby, car ready to go.

A roadshow, a wedding, a night out

Set up your two-hour, half-day and evening sections, link them to your Google Calendar, then try the app for 30 days without paying anything or entering a card number.

Clients book time, not a ride

Two hours, half a day or a full day: one section per length, then the start time

Clients open the section that fits their request, "2 hours", "Half day" or "Full day", then pick one of the start times you offer: 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon and so on in the two-hour section. All of these sections are linked to your Google Calendar, so a full day booked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. takes the shorter slots it overlaps off the app on its own. The form asks for the itinerary, the number of passengers and bags, and any child seat. The confirmation goes out by email to the client and to you, answers included.

The sedan and the van, each with its own calendar

More than three passengers, or gear to load, means the client books the van

Each vehicle has its own sections, tied to its own Google Calendar: a full day booked on the van leaves the sedan free. That assumes one driver per vehicle; if you drive both yourself, link every section to your one calendar, and booking the van closes the sedan for the same hours. The app doesn't count seats: it's your vehicles page that states, for example, three passengers for the sedan and seven for the van.

Your hours: daytime on weekdays, evenings on weekends

Twelve hours to get the car ready, a three-month window, your time off closed in advance

Monday through Friday, your daytime sections open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the Evening section, a single slot from 7 to 11:30 p.m., opens only on Fridays and Saturdays. A 12-hour minimum notice gives you time to wash the car and fill the tank: Saturday evening can be booked no later than 7 a.m. that same day. A three-month booking window covers dinners and business meetings; a wedding goes through a quote. Your vacation days and the days the car spends in the shop become one-off closures. The app leaves no buffer between two bookings: to keep some driving time at midday, give your two-hour sections two windows, 8 a.m. to noon and 2 to 8 p.m.

What your clients see before they book

Your vehicles

Photos of the exterior and the interior, number of seats, trunk space counted in large suitcases and carry-ons.

What's included

Waiting time between stops, chilled water, phone chargers, quiet if the client works on board and discretion about what's said there: your commitments, in writing.

Your area and long trips

The cities you cover at no extra charge, as points on a map, and what changes when a day takes you 200 miles away: the empty drive back, the driver's meals, a hotel night.

Your hourly rates

The price of an hour, a half day, a full day and each extra hour, published on a page of their own: no amount shows up at the booking stage.

Your cancellation terms

How late a client can cancel free of charge, and what happens after that. When either of you cancels, the slot opens up again and the other gets an email; any fee is settled between you, outside the app.

How much does a private driver app cost?

Your driver app on iPhone and Android starts with the Premium plan. For clients to book your hourly service, add the Appointment booking option, or choose the Pro plan, which includes it. The quote form, contact page, service area map and push notifications add nothing to the bill.

Pro · hourly service bookable, no option to add$105 /month, billed yearly

Private driver app: your questions

How do clients book me for four hours?

Create a Half day section with four-hour slots and two windows: one in the morning, from 8 a.m. to noon, and one in the afternoon, from 2 to 6 p.m. Connect it to the Google Calendar your two-hour and full-day sections already use. A morning booked there takes that morning's two-hour slots and the whole day off the app for that date.

Can the client list several stops?

Yes, in a paragraph field of the booking form: pickup address, each stop with its time, the preferred end time. Those lines show up in the confirmation email, then in the event on your Google Calendar: parked outside the first meeting, you check the next address. The app doesn't plot a route; your usual navigation takes care of that.

I have a sedan and a van: how does the client choose?

Through the sections: they book in the sedan's or the van's, after reading your vehicles page. Name them so nobody can mix them up: "Sedan · 2 hours", "Van · full day". Six passengers on a sedan booking? You cancel it, the client is notified by email, and you offer the van.

Can clients pay for the ride or a deposit in the app?

No. The app takes the booking, not the money: neither the price of the service nor a deposit. You get paid as you do today, on board, by bank transfer or on a monthly invoice for corporate clients. Your payment terms go on the rates page.

Can I turn down last-minute bookings?

Yes, with the minimum notice before booking. Set to 12 hours, it stops anyone from booking an 8 a.m. start after 8 p.m. the night before. A client in a hurry calls you from the contact page; if you say yes, add the ride to your Google Calendar, and the slot drops out of the app.

A client wants a three-day roadshow: how does that come in?

Through a Form section called Quote request, not through booking: dates, cities, meeting addresses, hotels, number of passengers and bags. Each request sends you an email, and the back office keeps every answer, ready to export as CSV. Once the quote is accepted, block those three dates in your Google Calendar: no section will offer them anymore.

Does the app track the car in real time?

No. There's no GPS tracking, no vehicle position on a map and no automatic ride assignment. Clients know where to find you because they gave the pickup address; if they can't spot you, they call you with one tap from the contact page.
