This online help explains how to create different shipping rates within one shipping zone.
In order to set your shipping rates, it is necessary to have created at least one shipping zone.

To create a shipping zone, refer to this online help

General principles

You can set different shipping rates within the same shipping zone
You client will be able to select the rate of his choice amongst the ones you offer.
These rates are calculated during the checkout by calculations rules you already defined.

For example, you can offer two shipping rates:
- A standard shipping rate for 7 dollars
- A fast shipping rate for 15 dollars.
Then offer another calculation rule for free shipping for orders over 100 dollars.

Warning: when defining the shipping rates within a shipping zone, you must select a mode of calculation . Two options are possible:
 - depending on the total price of the order
- depending of the weight of the order
Only one of these options can be used within a shipping zone.

To add a shipping rate:
1/ Go to Settings > Shipping

2/ Click "Edit details" in the shipping zone you wish to add another shipping rate. (if you don't have any shipping zones yet, refer to this online help to create them)

3/ Add a rate  (based on price or weight)

4/ Click "Modify this zone"

Common mistakes to avoid

If you find anomalies in the rates available to your clients, first make sure you didn't make any of the following mistakes:
- Offer in the same zone rates based on weight and price.
- Apply minimum and maximum limits but forget to include certain price range or weight range.
- Apply free delivery for a price or weight below the high limit of the shipping rate.
