The settings sheet, what your makers come for

Temperature, speed, retraction: the profile that works, filament by filament

Each sheet is an article: the material and printer tested, nozzle and bed temperatures, speed, retraction, cooling, then a photo of the resulting calibration cube. The opening stays readable by everyone; the values and the attached PDF sheet only show to subscribers, from the paragraph you pick. Lock at least ten of them to open subscriptions.

Video tutorials for every stage of a print

From bed leveling to modeling the part

Film what photos show badly: leveling, the first layer, a nozzle swap, designing a part in your CAD software. Sort the videos by level and by type of machine, and link them to the sheets that refer to them. They stream with no bandwidth fee added; the disk space available follows your plan.

A maker community around your settings

Their good prints, their failures, and your answers

A Form in the app collects a photo of each part with the settings used, or of a failed print to diagnose. You publish the best ones in a gallery open to all and go through the failures in a weekly article: subscribers learn from other people's mistakes, visitors see what your profiles produce.

AI in your print workshop

Three uses, and what they cost.
To price

A print cost calculator

Describe the tool you want, for instance the price of a part from its weight in grams, the spool price and the electricity used; the AI Extension Builder writes the code and adds it to your app.

Settings questions, handled from your sheets

“Why does my PETG string between islands?” The Chatbot digs the answer out of your published sheets and articles; without a subscription, a maker only gets what your free pages say.

The budget of a 3D printing subscription app

Your sheets sell from the native apps: add Memberships to a Premium plan, or choose Pro to get it from the start. Videos, the Form, notifications and the AI Extension Builder are part of the plan at no extra cost.
Premium · iOS, Android and web apps$55 /month, billed yearly
Memberships, added to Premium$49 /month
Pro · subscriptions already included$105 /month, billed yearly
On the store side, also budget for your developer accounts, paid to Apple and Google.

3D printing app: your questions

Can you make money with 3D printing through an app?

Yes, by selling access to your tutorials and settings: subscribers pay monthly or yearly, inside the app. What you earn depends on your audience. GoodBarber takes no share; Apple and Google usually keep 15% of each subscription, Apple 30% during its first year unless you belong to its small business program.

Is selling one STL file at a time possible?

No. The app sells one subscription that opens everything you have locked; there is no per-file purchase and no access tiers. To sell models one by one, a marketplace or a shop is a better fit.

What about the parts I print for customers?

Those are physical goods, which the subscription does not sell: that is the job of a sales app, GoodBarber's eCommerce app for instance.

Can my subscribers talk to each other?

Not through messaging: an app that sells subscriptions has neither Chat nor Community. Your makers reach you through the form, and you publish their prints along with your answers.

I also publish electronics builds: same app?

Yes. Open a DIY electronics section, with its videos and PDF schematics; the same subscription gives access to your 3D printing and electronics content.

Which plan for a maker app?

Premium with Memberships as an option, or Pro, where it is built in. Standard publishes a web app only and cannot sell subscriptions.
