Place each tee on a Map section, one point per hole, with its par, its length and a short description, grouped by category if you have two loops. A KML file draws lines and areas on top: the path from the 18th green to the clubhouse, the practice area. Tapping the clubhouse point opens directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps.

Every hole, filmed and explained
A flyover video and the pro's advice before you tee off
Publish one article per hole: the flyover filmed by drone or the pro walking the hole, then the written advice, the landing area to aim for, the bunker to avoid on the approach, the slope of the green. Players open it on the tee from the Videos or Articles section. Articles and maps already viewed stay readable without a network; videos need one.
Competitions, from the calendar to the results
The season in the agenda, results announced as soon as they're up
Each competition gets its entry in the Agenda: date, format, first tee time and the page where members sign up. Once the last card is in, publish the results in an article: Automatic push tells players as soon as it's online. The monthly medal, the club championship and the seniors' cup each get their date on the calendar.
A welcome message at the car park
Geofencing greets players when they arrive, in the native apps
Draw a zone around the club: when a player with the app arrives, a notification can greet them with the day's information, the practice range closing at 7 pm or the course conditions. Geofencing runs in the native apps only, on the Premium plan and above, for players who have allowed location access.

How much does a golf club app cost?

The Premium plan includes three geofences, enough for the car park, the practice range and the clubhouse. Apple and Google charge for the developer accounts themselves.
Golf club app: questions from club managers
Can players book a tee time in the app?
Not in the app itself: tee times stay in your booking system, and a link in the app leads there. The app presents the course, the competitions and club life.
Can the app show a player's position or the distance to the green?
No: the map shows your points and lines, and directions open in the phone's map app, but there is no GPS rangefinder. Your videos and hole sheets give the distances you publish.
Can we show a video for every hole?
Yes: add the video to the hole's article or to a Videos section, or embed it from YouTube or Vimeo. Watching a video needs a network; the written sheets stay readable offline once opened.
How do we announce competition results?
Post them as an article in a section where Automatic push is active: players are alerted the moment it's online. For the day entries open, schedule a push yourself.
Can the app welcome players when they arrive?
Yes: draw a geofence around the club and your message pops up on arrival, in the native apps on Premium and above, for players who share their location.
Is a web version enough for a small course?
To start, yes: the Standard plan publishes a web version, with nothing to install. It has neither Automatic push nor geofencing; the Premium plan adds the iOS and Android apps.
