In this Friday talk, we focus on optimization. We rolled out a wave of optimizations mid march, in order to load your content faster in the apps. In this video, you'll learn more about what's behind the scene and how GoodBarber is organized to help you create the most Beautiful Apps in the world ;)

In this Friday talk, get to know more about the new progress bar. The progress bar gives a visual feedback to the user when he launches the app. It tells him that data is being retrieved. This behavior occurs when it is the first time someone launches the app or when you publish an update of your app There are 2 buttons in the backend in the publication menu : Submit and Publish. Hitting submit will trigger our compiler to rebuilt your app. Then you'll have to upload your ipa file to Apple and wait for the review. You need to re-built your app each time you want to benefit from the new features of the Beautiful Apps Engine. We improve it every tuesday. Hitting publish will update you app the easy way. If you add a section, you change your design, well, when you make your app evolve, no need to rebuilt it. It can be updated on the fly. So, this is why we made the progress bar. It's here to tell the user, hey, updating is in progress. Hold on, fresh content and fresh design are coming.

Very busy day 2 at Mobile World Congress. Day 2 and day 3 are said to be the most intense of the event ... and, well, this is true. We met a lot of people today : VCs, potential partners, complementary services and of course, leads :) Not so much time to give you a feedback of what's hot in MWC2013, but we'll try tomorrow.

Since this morning, we have met a lot of people. Each time, they give us great ideas to improve GoodBarber. If it's true that we are not experts of the radio ecosystem, there are great chance that will become killers and the end of Le Radio! Just one evidence: we are "nominé" for the On'R awards.  Here are some pictures of Le Radio :)

GoodBarber has developped 25 connectors (and counting) to retrieve your articles, photos, videos, events, sounds, tweets, …well, you get the idea :) Use them to put all your content at your users's fingertips. The idea is simple. From your backend, different sections can be created in your app. Each section corresponds to a type of content. Behind each section is linked a source.  Here is the list of the supported external services. Keep in mind that this list is growing.

Wedding is one of the 50+ themes available in your GoodBarber backend. Use it as a starting point to create your Beautiful App.  

Great news today. The first iPhone app powered by the Beautiful Apps Engine is available in the App Store. This the app of WMaker, our mother company.  This is just the beginning. More to come in a few days.

With GoodBarber, everybody can create Beautiful Apps. Bloggers, this theme is for you. Use it to unify your web presence. It was especially crafted for those publishing a high volume of content : news, videos, photos, podcasts, etc. Looking at the root view, you see that our designer chose a tab bar for the navigation.  But you notice that Blow has also a sub-navigation, with a "circle band", at the top of the screen. Very useful to offer a clear navigation among a lot of content. In the detailed view, the tool bar is at the bottom. Select the option you want to propose. In this exemple, comments, sharing, font size and add to faves are enable. Blow is one of the 50+ themes available in your GoodBarber backend. Each Tuesday, we update the Beautiful Apps Engine. So, here is the changelog of what's is newly available in your apps: - better thumbnail quality in the lists views - better localisation for date formats - error message displayed when it is impossible to retrieve comments - fixing bug when cropping thumbanails in Sound section - fixing seperator color settings in the menu (with swipe mode) - fixing graphical bugs in Twitter section (troncated Twitter account, date labels added) - better handling of external links in detail pages - better error management in all connectors - action button can be sorted (sharing, bookmark, comment, ...) in detail pages (you need to edit the JSON file to do so. Advanced users feature) - fixing background color bug in Other section (with TabBar mode) - fixing bug to display the right color in a cell of the swipe mode, when selected - reseting red badges received when pushed, after opening the app - enabling comments in the Photo/Instagram section - several grahicals renderings improvements - IPA file size is smaller - several minor improvements To have this changes applied to your app, you need to re-build it.

It's been exactly once week now, since we have widely opened GoodBarber 2 beta to the public. We are very exited because, everyday, many of you try it and give their feedback. It helps us to speed up the pace to stabilize GoodBarber 2, so that it is rolled out earlier than expected.
