Astronomy club app: your questions
Does the app calculate sky events on its own?
No: the club publishes its ephemerides and schedules the notifications, date by date. For a precise calculation tool, the AI Extension Builder can generate a section from your description; check its results.
Can we alert only members near a site?
Yes: a push can target a geographic zone drawn on the map, and Geofencing shows a notification on entering a site.
Can we reserve content for club members?
Yes, once you add Authentication and then User groups: members sign in, you place them in the club's group, and some sections open to them only. These are two Premium options, included in Pro.
Can club membership be sold in the app?
No: what in-app purchase sells is digital content, not a membership. The app is the tool of the club and its members: nights, sites, alerts, photos.
Do members' photos remain their property?
Yes: you publish with their consent and the author's name. The form passes the image on to you; nothing is published without your action.
