Before talking about the new features of December, I wanted to wish you a happy and successful year 2023!  This month, we present you with a new feature that will allow you to give a fresh look to your Map sections. We have created a new list template for the Map sections: thanks to this new template, your users have the possibility to bookmark items directly from the list view, as well as many other new features.  Below is a summary of the developments and updates made during the month of December 2022:

This month no jealousy! We worked on two features, one for eCommerce apps and one for content apps.  For eCommerce apps, we have improved the functionality of your catalog by adding a major option: the display of out-of-stock products. This option can allow you to show the extent of your catalog references to your customers even if your stock is momentarily unavailable, or even to enhance the success of one or more products while waiting for a restocking. If you plan to restock these products, keeping them displayed in your catalog can be a good business strategy to keep your customers coming back to your store.  For content apps, it's a new and much-anticipated feature that we're pleased to introduce: the Appointment Booking extension ! This option works in sync with Google Calendar. This month we offer you a new design element that will give a new life to your Articles and Blog sections: the Immersive Design template. It's a very visual full screen template, which allows you to give a maximum of power to your readers: comments, bookmarks, sharing options, your users will be able to perform all these actions directly from the list of your articles. This month we have two new features for you: The new "Element Style " menu for Classic apps: From this menu, you can modernize the design of your app by applying rounded shapes to widgets and sections. You will have the choice between 3 options: square, rounded and round. This month, among other developments, we developed a feature that touches on a topic that is crucial to the profitability of content apps: monetization. If you use integrated advertising via external ad networks, you'll be happy to know that you can now use AdMob Mediation. This will allow you to manage all your ad sources in one place. This month we introduce a new extension that will allow you to know more about your users and their behavior: Facebook Meta Pixel. It allows you to track certain events performed by users in your native app and in your PWA: number of app downloads, registrations, and logins, information on payment, adding a credit card, adding an item to the cart, or information on reading your content. This month, we released several new extensions that you've been voting for in the GoodBarber Lab. And we thought about everyone, whether you own classic apps or eCommerce apps.  First of all a very important extension for merchants: Facebook Marketplace. By connecting your GoodBarber app to your Facebook Marketplace with our latest extension, you'll help your business gain visibility as well as increase your sales using the world's largest social network!  For your content, we have also released several extensions that will allow you to distribute external content in your application. Medium and Wix for your articles, Ausha, Spreaker, Anchor, and Simplecast for your podcasts: connect our extensions and broadcast your content directly into your application.  Finally, the last extension that will delight your customers: Tawk.to, which allows you to offer direct chat support to your users. This month we present a new feature that will delight content creators who want to monetize their apps. A few weeks ago we announced the release of In-App Purchases, which allow you to sell your app's content in the form of subscriptions. Your users could then pay a subscription to access your content or a part of your content. Today, we offer you a new possibility to take into account in your monetization strategy: remove ads from your app in exchange for a subscription. This month in addition to having totally redesigned the image of GoodBarber, we've launched a new concept that will personalize your app: The Extensions Store . It gathers a large catalog of features that you can add to your app according to your needs. And as we know you're very curious and on the lookout for new features, we added a special something for you: you will find in the Extension Store extensions labeled "GoodBarber Lab". This month we are proud to introduce a new feature that will help you make your content apps more profitable: in-app purchases! We decided to start by offering you to implement subscriptions in your apps. They allow users to purchase additional content and features by introducing "subscription periods". When users have an active subscription, they can use the premium aspects of the app, and when that subscription expires, users can no longer use them unless they subscribe again. For the last month of 2021, we released our very popular Zapier connector on our Classic platform. For those of you not yet familiar with it, Zapier is a no-code automation too.  Already available on our Shopping platform, you can now also automate actions from and to your Classic app. Zapier allows you to connect your app to thousands of online services helping you save time by automating repetitive tasks.  You will find below the summary of the improvements and updates made during the month of December 2021.

This month we're releasing a few of your favorite classic features to our Shopping App platform. You can now connect your WordPress blog or create your own blog feed, add a KLM section or create your own map feed.  We've also added new triggers and actions to our Zapier connector.  All these upgrades are the perfect addition to your Shopping App to make the very busy end-of-year shopping season a success. This month, we focused on our Shopping Apps and added 2 new features allowing online shop owners to manage even more efficiently their business.  Zapier Integration : You can now use the most popular automation tool to connect your GoodBarber Shopping App to other services.  My GB Shop Companion : With this brand new app, you can now manage your orders directly from your smartphone, without having to connect to your back office. This month we're releasing a new feature on our Classic platform, that our Shopping App clients are already familiar with: Universal Links and App Links. Introduced in 2015 with iOS 9, Universal links  are Apple's method of launching apps on iOS when linked from a website. Android App Links are Google's equivalent to Apple's Universal Links. This month it's all about Android. Your GoodBarber Android apps are now optimized for Android 11. And this update has made a lot of noise among Android app developers.  Android apps have historically been distributed as APKs. If you are not familiar with what an .apk file is, know that it is the file that is produced as the result of the development of your app. Android Package Kit (APK) is the file format used to distribute and install apps and make them work on Android devices.  Starting this week, the APK has been replaced by the AAB format.  You will find below all the updates and improvements for the month of July 2021.

This month we're releasing an update that many of you have been asking for. It's especially for all Shopping App owners who want to manage their product catalog in bulk: you can now add images in our Import/Export add-on. Our Import/Export add-on already allowed shop owners to easily import /export an unlimited number of products, in one click, from a single .csv file.  The next step for this feature was to be able to add images. To start off the year, we are pleased to introduce a new feature that will delight owners of Shopping Apps: Time Slots! This new add-on allows you to give your clients the possibility to choose time slots for their local delivery or in-store pick-up.  Don't wait to try this new add-on that will allow you to: Increase customer satisfaction by allowing them to choose when to receive their order. We created it to simplify the payment process and remove unnecessary steps for your clients. Depending on the shipping method activated in your shop, during the ordering process, your clients will only be asked to provide specific information about the chosen shipping method.
