This month we introduce 3 new features for your Shopping Apps that will be useful for you regardless of the type of shop you own:  - A Public API that will allow you to easily connect your app to third-party services.  - The Developer add-on is now available for your Shopping Apps allowing you to access hidden settings to customize your app even more.  - Advanced tax management allowing you to manage your taxes according to two new criteria: the type of product sold and not only by countries but also by region   You will find below a summary of the improvements and updates made during the month of February 2021:

To start off the year, we are pleased to introduce a new feature that will delight owners of Shopping Apps: Time Slots! This new add-on allows you to give your clients the possibility to choose time slots for their local delivery or in-store pick-up.  Don't wait to try this new add-on that will allow you to: Increase customer satisfaction by allowing them to choose when to receive their order. Manage your prep time by limiting the number of orders per day and per time slot. Build loyalty and increase recurring orders by meeting delivery expectations and providing excellent customer service. That's it 2021 is finally here! After this rather special year, the  GoodBarber team wishes you all the best for the coming year and of course a lot of success in your journey as an app creator!  In December, we worked on a new Fast Checkout add-on. We created it to simplify the payment process and remove unnecessary steps for your clients. Depending on the shipping method activated in your shop, during the ordering process, your clients will only be asked to provide specific information about the chosen shipping method. No more time wasted filling in unnecessary details!  You'll find below a summary of the improvements and updates made during the month of December 2020  

This month we've been working to help you comply with the new standards. No jealousy this time, one is for Shopping Apps, and the other for Classic Apps:   SCA payment: On December 31, 2020, the new security requirements imposed on banks and payment organizations by the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2 ) will take effect in the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). The European standard called SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), which is version 2 of the 3D Secure payment, will then come out. Transparency and Consent Framework: The IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) has published a new version of the Transparency and Consent Framework, TCF V2. The objective is to ensure transparency between publishers (owners of sites displaying ads), ad networks, and suppliers (ad suppliers) using CMPs (Consent Management Platforms) that are verified by the IAB.  

This month we present you some new features, especially in terms of Shopping Apps.  First of all, know that you can now set a time zone and apply it to your entire shop, from the Settings > Shop info of your back office. Once the timezone has been chosen, it will be applied to all the elements of your app, such as emails, dates displayed on your shop, etc. It will become the reference time zone of your shop.  Then, and at the same place, you will be able to choose the date and time format that will be applied to your shop.  And finally, a new line is displayed in your link manager: the "Product details" line. Got it? You can now create links towards the product pages.  You'll find below a summary of the improvements and updates made during the month of October 2020:  

This month we've redesigned a section very appreciated by podcast lovers. I'm talking about the Sound section of your GoodBarber Classic apps. We are pleased to announce the release of a must-have feature: Mini Player.  From now on, your users will be able to browse the app while continuing to listen to the content of your Sound and Live sections. All this while always viewing the player at the bottom of their screen, no matter what view they are in!   We also worked on a new template for the details page of your Sound section, I let you discover it in your back office ;)    You will find below the summary of the improvements and updates made during the month of September 2020:

No rest at GoodBarber in August! Two new add-ons have been published and you might be particularly interested if you're using GoodBarber for your Shopping App.   "Quick Buy " add-on: Your clients will now be able to easily add products to their cart from the Home page of your app (widget List of products° or while browsing a collection. Once your clients have added the product, the button will say "added". Clients will never have to leave the page they're browsing, therefore increasing the chance of them browsing your catalog further, which will result in an increase in your average cart.    "Store Locator " add-on: Give your clients a quick overview of your different store locations and simplify their shopping experience by allowing them to find you instantly.  You will find below the updates and improvements for August, 2020. 

This month we have several novelties to present you and which concern the Shopping Apps!   First of all, two new features in the checkout process: You can now customize the wording of the fields concerning the company, the VAT number, and the phone number of your clients. You can activate a new free field, the "Client note" field, which will allow your users to send you any message when placing an order. Then a brand new add-on! The "In-store pickup". It allows your clients to place their orders from your app and to pick it up in your shop. Convenient right? You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during July, 2020.

This month we have something new for everyone! Among the developments made we offer two new features that will delight creators of content apps as well as shopping apps!   Let's start with the Classic apps and the new design. Our ambition has always been to provide you with a product at the cutting edge of technology and mobile user experience.   As the style of the action buttons we offer you is no longer satisfactory, we have updated the design to keep your apps up to date with the current design trends! The update will give an excellent refresh to the user interface of your apps :)  For the Shopping Apps, we continue our efforts by offering a new add-on for your Shopping Cart section: the "Cart Reminder " add-on.  This reminder is an easy and simple way to encourage your clients to complete their purchases, by showing them the products they have left in their cart.    You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during June, 2020.

This month we are working on features that will delight local businesses! Our first add-on is Offline payment. With this add-on, you facilitate the shopping experience of your clients by allowing them to pay outside the app Next is the local delivery  add-on, which is now available on your Shopping App. It allows you to configure your delivery zones by zip code and offer a fast delivery option to your nearest clients You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during May, 2020.

This month we offer you several new features, especially on the Shopping apps side.   As you know, we strive to constantly develop our features, especially when they come from your suggestions. Many of you have asked us and we listened : Mercado Pago is now available as a payment gateway in your Shopping App. ​Launched in 2003, Mercado Pago is an Argentina-based digital payment platform available to consumers and businesses exclusively in Latin America. Since its launch, Mercado Pago has been rolled out across the region in eight key countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The month of March was disrupted all around the world by the health crisis. Even though the situation is more difficult, the GoodBarber teams have taken steps to ensure that the company's productivity does not suffer. A few weeks ago, we unveiled our new exclusive home-working organization, and it is under these conditions that our technical teams have carried out the developments listed below. We are now in our fourth week of containment and we intend to keep up the pace as long as it takes for the situation to return to normal.  Don't forget to take care of yourself and others by staying home as much as possible! You can count on us to continue to provide you with the best service and allow you to fine-tune your app from the comfy seats of your couch :)  This month we're releasing a new must-have feature for apps that use our Authentication add-on: Sign-in with Apple.   It is Apple's authentication system that relies on the user's Apple ID and is designed to enhance the privacy of user data. Users can choose not to provide their email address to the apps in which they authenticate via Sign-in with Apple. In this case, Apple will create a unique, random email address that will act as a relay between the user and the third-party app.  Apple has announced a change to the Apple Store's guidelines due to the release of Sign-in with Apple: all apps that offer at least one third-party authentication system will now be required to offer Sign-in with Apple.  For you, this means that if you have enabled authentication via Facebook and/or Twitter in your GoodBarber app, Sign-in with Apple will automatically be enabled in your GoodBarber app.  If you only use the GoodBarber authentication system, nothing changes for you :)  You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during March, 2020.

We announced at the end of 2019, the launch of the Add-ons Store for GoodBarber Shopping Apps. Today, we're happy to offer you two new add-ons that many of you had requested !    Blog Add-on :   You can now enhance your Shopping app and showcase your products under a different angle by writing blog posts.   "Buy again" Add-on :  Shoppers are always looking to purchase products with as few clicks as possible. Especially if they are clients who simply want to reorder your products. The "Buy again" button allows them to renew an order with one simple click.    You can find below a summary of the developments and updates made during February, 2020.

For starter, discover a major novelty for your Shopping Apps: a new type of widgets available for your Home: Navigation widgets Don’t wait, try them out! They offer unlimited possibilities to optimize the navigation on your app and guide your clients around your shop :)

2020 is here and we would like first of all to wish you a happy new year from the GoodBarber team. We wish all the best for your app building adventures ! In December, we worked on the opening of the Add-ons Store for our Shopping Apps. As for GoodBarber Classic, the add-ons store is a library of additional features available for you to add or not to your back office. 3 add-ons are already available in the Shopping Apps catalog: Products import/ Export: manage your product catalog in a record time thanks to the import/ export via .csv file.  Google AMP: Increase the visibility of your products and improve your users' experience on your PWA White Label: remove all mention of GoodBarber in your back office. 

It has been several weeks since GoodBarber Shopping Apps was published and many of you have been testing it! This month, we decided to focus on the publication of a very useful tool in the creation of your shopping app: the publication of My GoodBarber Shop. This app allows you to test the native version of your shop, directly on your smartphone before starting the publication process. You could not miss it, this month of October was marked by big news: the launch of GoodBarber Shopping App, the first app builder dedicated to the creation of Shopping Apps.  After months of development, we are proud to present you today a very complete product with solid foundations. GoodBarber Shopping App is already at the level expected of an eCommerce platform. But as you already know, our product is constantly evolving and you will be able to follow all the updates and improvements we will bring to this product.  With this new product you will note a change in our monthly rendez vous: it will no longer be split by platform but by application type GoodBarber Shopping Apps & GoodBarber Classic. This month a new menu has been published in your back office. It centralizes all your Back Office Settings pages and gives you one-click access to the following pages: Team, it allows you to add members to your team and manage their access rights Preferences: you can choose your app language and default email Cookies, to inform your users of the cookies use of your PWA 404 error, you can customize your 404 page  External connections, to connect your app to external services ( Facebook, Twitter etc.) Data Privacy, to be in compliance with your users privacy  App texts, to customize the generic texts used in your app Backups, where you can back up your app My files, to store files to use in your plugins HEAD tag, allows you to add HTML tags to your PWA HEAD tag

Last year, Google warned developers of a technical change in sending and receiving push notifications. GoodBarber took this change into account by updating the Android engine of your apps. Fire Cloud Messaging, the system used to send and receive push notifications will therefore be the only system in effect from April 11, 2019. You probably missed the announcement by Google and it’s perfectly normal. It’s GoodBarber's job to make sure that your Android app adapts to Google's regular updates (and Apple's iOS app). Do you use our Couponing add-on ? So you're going to be particularly interested in what's new this month. If you are not yet a user, they should definitely convince you! These new features concern the back office and will radically simplify the way you manage and analyze your discount coupons: - new sorting options: On the Business > Couponing > My Coupons page, until today you could sort your coupons based on their validity and expiration dates. From now on you can also sort them by: Their number of uses (Most used) Shops - a new management page: You can find the Business > Couponing > My Redeemed Coupons page which allows you to view the list of coupons used, by whom, in which shop, and on what date.
