June 12

In October, Ines and Thomas open your app. On the June 2027 calendar, only two Saturdays can still be tapped. They first estimate their reception, 110 guests, cocktail hour and next-day brunch, then put a hold on the 12th, stating the type of event and the number of guests. The email reaches you and the contract goes out the same day; if they don't sign, you cancel the hold and June 12 opens up again.

The Wednesday tour

The Tours section opens on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. On a wedding Saturday, the day blocked in your Google Calendar closes the tour slots on its own. After spotting the orangery and the parking lot on the estate map, Ines and Thomas book Wednesday at 6 p.m.; you greet them already knowing their date and guest count.

1 p.m. on the big day

The DJ arrives to set up and asks the Chatbot where to plug in and how late the music can play. The answer comes from your vendor guide, with a card showing its source. The caterer already found the service entrance and the delivery time there; nobody had to call the coordinator.

One date, three moments

Picking the date, touring the venue, getting ready for the big day: at each step, the couple and their vendors get their answer from the app rather than waiting for someone to pick up the phone.

From the date to the big day, your venue's app

The sections that show your dates, the ones that welcome tours, then what helps on the day of the event.
  1. Show your dates

Create a "Dates" section: a single time range per open day, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. for example, and a slot of the same length with one seat. Couples then see a monthly calendar where only the dates still open can be tapped. Dates open up to one year ahead, one more every day, and the linked Google Calendar removes the ones you sell by phone.
  2. Give tours

A second section, "Tours", offers one-hour slots on the same calendar. Both sections use the same booking form, which asks for the type of event and the number of guests. Before coming, the couple runs their numbers in "Estimate your reception" and finds each space on the estate map.
  3. Get ready for the big day

Practical information is the same for every event: directions, parking, rooms, shuttle, when the music ends. The Chatbot reads your vendor guide and house rules; the Contact section gives the coordinator's number and the service entrance address.

What your couples find in the app

Dates and tours

Two Appointment booking sections on the same calendar: dates, with one slot a day, and tours, by the hour.

Estimate your reception

A section created by the AI Extension Builder, where the day, the season, the guest count and the options add up to an indicative total.

The estate, space by space

Each room, the terrace, the grounds and the parking lot on CMS Map, a gallery for each space and the filmed tour in video.

Open days

Your open days in CMS Agenda, announced by a push notification.

Practical information

An article each couple passes on to their guests: directions, parking, rooms, shuttle, closing time.

Questions about the venue

The Chatbot replies from your vendor guide and house rules, citing its sources.

Reaching the venue

The Contact section: call the coordinator, email the venue, find the service entrance.

AI at work for your venue

Three uses: an estimate based on your rates, answers pulled from your documents, holds managed by your assistant.
To build

An estimate at your rates

Ask the AI Extension Builder for an "Estimate your reception" section: the couple picks the day, the season, the number of guests and their options, cocktail hour, next-day brunch, rooms. The app shows the total in large type, the line-by-line breakdown and the note "Indicative estimate: the venue's quote prevails", then keeps their choices on their phone. You type your prices into the request yourself: the section has no settings panel.

Your vendor guide, as answers

The Chatbot takes PDF, Word, text and Markdown files, each up to 25 MB: your vendor guide, your house rules, the questions every couple asks. The caterer asks about delivery times, the DJ about power outlets, the couple whether petals are allowed; each answer comes with a card that leads back to its source.

To operate

Holds managed by your assistant

"Cancel the hold on Saturday, June 12, 2027: the couple didn't sign." "Add the open day on Sunday, March 14 to the agenda, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m." Linked to your app by MCP, Claude or ChatGPT finds the booking, cancels it to put the date back online, creates the event, then reports back.

Premium · iOS, Android and web app$55 /month, billed annually
Appointment booking, with Premium$15 /month
Chatbot, with Premium or Pro$35 /month

Wedding venues: questions about the app

What app builder suits a wedding or event venue?

One that shows your open dates, fills your tour calendar and answers your vendors for you. GoodBarber lets you build that app without coding, published on iPhone, on Android and as a web version: start your venue's app.

Can a couple book their date in the app?

Yes: set the "Dates" section to a single slot per day and a single seat, and once a date is taken, it leaves the calendar. That booking is a hold, which you confirm with your contract.

How far ahead are dates open?

Up to one year ahead, and each day a new date is added at the end of the calendar. For a later date, the couple calls you.

Does the app collect the deposit?

No. The app takes no payment at all, for the hold or for the tour. The contract, the deposit and the balance are handled as they are today, outside the app.

What about dates sold by phone or at a wedding fair?

Enter them in the Google Calendar linked to the section: the booked day drops off the app's calendar, and that day's tours close too if they read the same calendar.

Can a couple hold several dates?

Yes, nothing stops them. You keep the one in the contract and cancel the others: they go straight back on the calendar.

We have two rooms, and corporate events on weekdays: how does that work?

Open one "Dates" section per room, each linked to its own calendar. For corporate events, another section can open Monday to Thursday only, with its own hours.

Where do the Chatbot's answers come from, and what do vendors see?

From your documents (vendor guide, house rules, frequent questions) and from the sections of the app you pick. Each answer carries a card naming the file or section it was taken from.

How much should a wedding venue budget for the app?

Premium plus the booking add-on, or Pro, which already contains it; the Chatbot can be added to either. Amounts appear converted to your currency in the box above, and the pricing page covers each plan in detail.
