Before a hospital stay

What documents to bring, when and where to arrive, which department to report to, what to pack for the stay: your preparation guides stay on the patient's phone, to reread the night before and on the morning itself, and the Chatbot handles last-minute questions.

During the stay and visits

Building and parking maps, visiting hours by department, cafeteria, Wi-Fi, useful numbers: families find what they need without calling the switchboard.

For all your patients

A new physician, a new service, a flu shot campaign, parking works: a push notification reaches everyone who has the app, and the article gives the details.

Three moments when the app helps your patients

Before admission, during the stay and between visits, patients and their families look for the same information: the app puts it in one place.

Your clinic app in four steps

Everything is set up in the GoodBarber back office, without a developer.
  1. Present your departments and physicians

One page per department or specialty, and a profile for each physician with their background and clinic days. Your teams keep them up to date from the back office, with their own logins.
  2. Write the patient journey

Preparing for a stay, admission day, the stay itself, discharge: clear articles with photos and videos, which you edit without going through an agency.
  3. Map the way in

A map with entrances, parking lots and buildings, and one pin per site if your facility has several.
  4. Connect your tools

The appointment button opens the booking platform you already use, the patient portal stays your facility's own, and your notifications go out from the back office.

Also in your app

Events calendar

Health talks, workshops, open days, blood drives: a calendar that is always current in the app.

Videos

Introduce a department, a piece of equipment or a typical day in hospital on video.

Useful numbers

Switchboard, admissions, visitor desk: every number is one tap away in the app.

Contact form

For administrative questions, never asking for medical information.

Several facilities

One section and one map pin per site, for a group of clinics or a hospital spread over several buildings.

Web version included

The same content exists as a web version: a relative without the app opens an article's link in their browser.

AI that serves your patients and your teams

Three concrete uses that stay on the information side.
To answer

A Chatbot for practical questions

Visiting hours, parking, what to bring: your articles, calendar and map feed the Chatbot's answers, and it replies to each patient in their own language. Since it only uses what you publish, keep personalized medical advice out of the app.
$35/month
To translate

Your guides for international patients

The back-office writing assistant translates an article into another language; you review it, then publish the translated version next to the original.

To operate

Your announcements from Claude or ChatGPT

Link the app to Claude or ChatGPT with MCP, then write: "Post the notice about the parking lot B works and let patients know." The assistant posts the article, sends the notification and reports back on every action.

Hospital and clinic app: frequently asked questions

What is a clinic app for?

It brings together what patients and their families look for before, during and after a stay: departments and physicians, admission preparation, directions and parking, visiting hours, useful numbers and your news. You reach everyone by push notification, and the Chatbot answers practical questions from your content.

What can a hospital or clinic promote in its app?

Your services, new physicians, new departments, health events and prevention campaigns, as long as every claim is truthful and backed by evidence: in the United States, the FTC applies that rule to health advertising, apps included. HIPAA adds one limit: a patient's health information can't be used for marketing without their written authorization, so announce services to everyone rather than targeting patients by condition. In the UK, the ASA's CAP Code covers healthcare advertising. Have your compliance team review your texts.

Can patients book appointments in the app?

Yes, through a link to your booking platform. Appointment and patient data are health information: keep them in the tools your facility already uses for that. The app presents your services and opens your platform, which keeps the appointments.

Can patients see their test results or records in the app?

No. Results, reports and records are health data: they stay in your facility's patient portal, which the app can link to.

What can we send as a push notification?

General information, the same for everyone: a new service, a change in visiting hours, works on site, a prevention campaign. Never anything about a specific patient's health: notifications show up on the phone's lock screen.

Can a group of clinics share a single app?

Yes: one section per facility, one map pin per site and shared news. For a doctor's office or a family practice, see the medical practice page instead.

What about patients who don't read English?

The writing assistant translates your articles, which you publish next to the original, and the Chatbot answers each patient in the language they used.

How much does a clinic app cost?

For an app on the stores, plan on Premium, plus the Chatbot if you add it. The details, in your currency, are in the pricing block on this page and on the pricing page.

Where is the app's data hosted?

In Europe. On the phone, the Privacy Center collects your patients' consent, shows the permissions the app asks for and displays your terms of use.
