Art gallery app: your openings and new works on your collectors' phones
At 10 a.m. on Thursday, collectors who follow the artist find the invitation to tonight's opening on their lock screen. Claire adds the date to her calendar and books a private viewing for Saturday. A month later, at the art fair, the gallery's notification gives the booth number to those who are there.
Your gallery gets its own app, native on iPhone and Android and built without code: the current exhibition and the next ones, your artists and their works, opening invitations by push, alerts for each artist, private viewings by appointment and a space for your collectors. For contemporary art galleries, artist-run galleries and nonprofit galleries.

Opening day
The exhibition sits in the app's agenda, from the opening to the last day. On the day it starts, the notification goes out on its own to the collectors who kept the gallery's alert. Claire adds the evening to her calendar and opens the directions in one tap.
See automatic pushA new canvas
On Tuesday, the gallery posts a new canvas in its artist's category. The alert goes to the collectors who follow that artist in their settings. Marc asks for the price through the form, and Claire books a private viewing for Saturday morning.
See Appointment bookingAt the fair
During an art fair, the gallery draws the area around the venue on the map and sends a notification to the collectors who are there, one message per language: "We're at booth B12, with the artist's new works."
See push notificationsYour gallery in an app, from hanging to opening night
What the gallery posts, what it keeps for its collectors, then how it brings them back.
Post the exhibition and the artists
Each exhibition becomes an agenda event, from the opening to the closing date, with the venue, directions and the exhibition text; it leaves the app after its end date. Works are articles filed in one category per artist, and their release can be scheduled for the time of the opening.Open the collectors' space
Collectors log in with an account, and the gallery puts them in a "Collectors" group. One section is theirs alone: prices, works before the show, private viewing dates. In their profile, each one keeps the alerts of the artists they follow.Invite them and bring them back
The invitation goes out at each phone's local time, scheduled the day before. Private viewings are booked in a slot, price requests go through a form, and the QR code printed on the invitation card and the wall labels sends each phone to the right store to install the app.

AI at work for your gallery
Three uses: a hanging tool you leave with collectors, a gallery your assistant keeps up to date, texts translated for collectors abroad.
To build
Where to hang the work
This section comes from a request to the AI Extension Builder. The collector enters the height of the framed work and the distance to the hanging point, in centimeters or inches; the app shows the height of the nail, with the center of the work 145 cm (57 in) from the floor, or the frame 20 cm (8 in) above a piece of furniture. Those rules are the ones the gallery writes in its request. Two or three works side by side are worked out too, and the last values stay on the phone.

To operate
A gallery your assistant keeps up to date
"Create the January exhibition from the press release and schedule the works for the opening." "Let Ms. Martin know the work she asked about is back from the fair." Through MCP, Claude or ChatGPT creates the event and the articles, sends the notification to that one collector, then reports back.

Texts for collectors abroad
The exhibition text and the notes on each work also exist in your foreign collectors' languages, thanks to one-click translation that keeps the gallery's tone; you check each version before it goes live.
Extension Store
The extensions a gallery uses. Authentication, User groups and Appointment booking are included in Pro and paid add-ons with Premium. The agenda, articles, notifications, the price request form, MCP and the AI Extension Builder come at no extra cost.

Art galleries: questions about the app
What app builder suits an art gallery?
GoodBarber, the no-code app builder, lets the gallery set up its own app under its name: exhibitions, artists, opening invitations and a space for collectors. Contemporary art gallery, artist-run gallery or nonprofit gallery: start your gallery's app.
Do we need a developer to build a gallery app?
No. The gallery picks a template, adds the agenda, the articles and the extensions it needs, and sets everything up in its back office. Our team can also take the app through App Store and Google Play review for you: that's the publishing service.
How do we invite collectors to an opening?
Put the exhibition in the agenda: the automatic notification goes out on the day it starts. For an invitation the day before or that morning, schedule a notification at each phone's local time and send it to the collectors' group only.
Can a collector follow only some artists?
Yes: file the works in one category per artist and set up an automatic alert for each. In their profile, each collector keeps the alerts of the artists they follow and turns off the others.
Can prices and previews be kept for collectors?
Yes: collectors log in with an account, the gallery puts them in a group, and one section is visible to that group only. Prices, works before the show or the selection for the next fair stay between the gallery and its collectors.
How does a collector ask for the price of a work?
Through a form: their name, email, the reference of the work and their message reach the gallery. They can also book a private viewing in an Appointment booking slot, to see the work before deciding.
How do collectors install the app?
Print the app's QR code on the invitation card, the wall labels or the catalog: it sends each phone to the right store. Once the app is installed, the gallery reaches its collectors by notification.
Can we reach collectors at an art fair?
Yes: draw the area around the venue on the map; the notification reaches the phones inside it, as long as their location is turned on. One message per language covers collectors from abroad.
Can we sell works online?
A work is sold at the gallery, after the price request or the viewing. To sell editions, prints or catalogs online, GoodBarber also offers the eCommerce app for artists, with a cart and payment.
How much does an art gallery app cost?
The price of a Premium plan, with Authentication, User groups and Appointment booking as add-ons, or the price of Pro, which includes them. The price box higher up converts the amounts into your currency, and every plan can be compared on the pricing page.
With GoodBarber, your gallery invites its collectors, alerts them for each artist and welcomes them to private viewings, from its own app
An app that stays on your collectors' phones, where each one finds the next exhibition, the works of the artists they follow and a slot to come and see them.
