Cinema app: your showtimes and every new release on your audience's phones
On release day, moviegoers who kept the "New releases" alert find it on their lock screen: one tap opens the trailer, the showtimes and your ticketing. On Thursday, Ines signs up for the film club, with 9 seats left out of 40. On Saturday, an extra screening is added at 9 p.m. and the neighborhood is told.
Give moviegoers your cinema's own app on iPhone and Android, set up without code: this week's films with their showtimes and trailers, a button to your ticketing, an alert for every release, film club sign-ups and a loyalty card. For art-house cinemas, municipal and community cinemas, small circuits and film clubs.

Release day
Each film is an agenda event, from its first to its last day on screen. On the day it starts, the alert is sent automatically to the moviegoers who kept "New releases". The notification opens the film: the trailer, this week's showtimes and the "Buy tickets" button.
See automatic pushThursday's film club
Thursday's screening and discussion is open on sign-up, with 40 seats. Ines signs up in the app, which shows the seats left; only the moviegoers who kept the "Film club" alert had been told. The cinema sees who is coming from its back office.
See Appointment bookingThe extra screening
This week's film is sold out: the cinema adds a screening on Saturday at 9 p.m. It outlines the neighborhood and nearby towns on the map; every phone in that area gets the notification, with the link to the screening on the ticketing.

What the cinema posts each week, how it tells moviegoers, then what brings them back.
Put the program online
Each film becomes an agenda event, from release day to its last day on screen, with its trailer, its showtimes and the link to the screening on your ticketing; afterwards, it leaves the app on its own. If your ticketing or your website publishes an iCal feed, the agenda reads it directly.Tell moviegoers
Sort films into categories (new releases, previews, film club, kids), each with its own automatic alert rule; in their profile, moviegoers switch on the ones that interest them. For a special event, a notification can be scheduled at each phone's local time or sent to one neighborhood only.Bring them back
At the counter, moviegoers scan the cinema's QR code and earn a point on their loyalty card; the club card unlocks a perk at each level. The app's QR code, shown on screen before the film and printed on the program, leads to the store that matches the phone.

Three uses of AI for your cinema
A diary that keeps the app on the phone between two screenings, a program entered by your assistant, synopses drawn from the press kit.
To build
My film diary
One request to the AI Extension Builder is enough for this section. Moviegoers log each film they see, with one to five stars and a few words; the app counts the films of the year and of the month, and keeps a "To watch" list they move into the diary after the screening. Everything stays on their phone, with no account.

To operate
The program entered by your assistant
"Here is this week's program: create each film in the agenda with its showtimes, its trailer and its ticketing link." "Tell the neighborhood: extra screening on Saturday at 9 p.m." Connected through MCP, Claude or ChatGPT fills in the agenda and sends the notification, then shows you what changed.

To write
A synopsis from the press kit
Paste the distributor's press kit into the film's page: the back office writing assistant sums it up in three lines, which you adjust to your taste before publishing.
Extension Store
The extensions a cinema installs. Pro covers Authentication and Appointment booking; with Premium, each is a paid option. Loyalty and club cards are options with both plans. Nothing to pay for the agenda, videos, notifications, the map, the AI Extension Builder or MCP.
How much does a cinema app cost?
Premium gives your cinema its app in the stores plus a web version; three options can be added as needed: Authentication, Appointment booking and the loyalty card. Pro already covers the first two.
| Premium · your cinema in the stores and on the web | $55 /month, billed annually |
| Authentication, with Premium | $12 /month |
| Appointment booking, with Premium | $15 /month |
| Loyalty card, with Premium or Pro | $8 /month |
| Pro · Authentication and Appointment booking included | $105 /month, billed annually |
The Standard plan publishes the web version only. Apple and Google developer accounts are paid to them directly.

Cinemas: questions about the app
What app builder suits a cinema?
GoodBarber is a no-code app builder the cinema uses to create its own app: this week's films, trailers, the button to the ticketing, release alerts and the loyalty card. Art-house cinema, municipal screen, community cinema or film club: create your cinema's app.
How does the program get into the app?
If your ticketing or your website publishes an iCal feed, the app's agenda reads it and updates itself. Otherwise, each film is entered in the back office, or by your AI assistant through MCP, with its release date and its last day on screen: it leaves the app afterwards.
How do we tell moviegoers about a release or a preview?
One automatic alert rule per category is enough: it fires on the day the film starts. For a preview, add a notification scheduled for each moviegoer's local time. In their profile, everyone decides which alerts they receive.
How do moviegoers buy their seats?
On your ticketing, as today: each film's "Buy tickets" button opens the right screening, and a notification can lead straight there. The cinema keeps its sales tool, and the app brings it moviegoers.
Can we offer a loyalty card?
Yes: at the counter, moviegoers scan the cinema's QR code and earn a point, for instance a free popcorn after ten screenings. The club card adds three levels with a perk for each, such as one free screening a month after thirty visits.
How do we handle film club sign-ups?
Open each screening and discussion as a group session in Appointment booking, with the number of seats in the room. The app shows the seats left, and the list of attendees is in the back office.
How do moviegoers install the app?
Show the app's QR code on screen before the film and print it on the program and the tickets: once scanned, it opens the app's page on the App Store or Google Play, depending on the phone. As soon as it's installed, the cinema's notifications start arriving.
Can we notify the neighborhood only?
Yes: outline the town and the nearby villages on the map; only the phones inside that area get the notification, provided their location is turned on.
Can a cinema build its app without a developer?
Yes: the cinema starts from a template and adds the agenda, the videos and the extensions it wants, with no code. For the store submission, the publishing service lets our team handle Apple's and Google's review.
