Every market and every farm on the map

Markets with their days and hours, farms with their direct sales

Pin the markets your producers attend in a Map section, with the day, opening hours and exact spot, then the farms that open a shop or sell at the gate. Create one section per family, vegetable growers, cheesemakers, livestock farmers, beekeepers, so people see at a glance who sells eggs near them; directions open in one tap.

Tomorrow's market, announced the evening before

Notifications scheduled for every market day, sent to residents of the area

Prepare the month's messages in one sitting: “Tomorrow, producers' market on Market Square, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.”, scheduled for 6 p.m. the day before. Target the geographic area of your markets rather than every user, and slip in the season's news: the first strawberries, the cheesemaker back after winter. Each market day also appears in the Agenda, which anyone can add to their calendar.

Producers people know by name

One profile per farm: what it grows, how, and when it's in season

Publish an article per producer, with photos, their way of working and their produce through the months. Residents know who they will see on Saturday, and newcomers find the farms in their town. Producers send their news through a form; the association publishes it.

Launching the association's app: four steps

What the association's board prepares before the first notification.
  1. The map

Markets and farms, with days, hours and categories.
  2. The calendar

The season's market days in the Agenda.
  3. Member accounts

Authentication and a “Producers” group for the reserved area.
  4. The messages

The evening-before notifications, scheduled for the whole month.

An area reserved for member producers

Market rules, the pitch plan, meeting minutes: visible to the producers' group only

Each producer creates an account in the app, and the association places it in the members' group from the back office. Sections reserved for that group only appear for them: Saturday's pitch plan, the minutes of the general meeting, the season's documents. A push can target that group alone, for a pitch change the day before.

The budget for a local markets app

Premium · native apps and web version$55 /month, billed yearly
Authentication, with Premium$12 /month
User groups, with Premium$5 /month
Pro · producers' area at no extra cost$105 /month, billed yearly

Local markets app: questions from associations

Can residents order a box in the app?

No: this app makes the markets and farms known, it sells nothing. A producer who wants to take orders uses GoodBarber's eCommerce app, with farm pickup and time slots.

Do people need an account to see the market map?

No. The map, the agenda and the profiles stay open to all; only member producers sign in, for their area.

How do I notify only residents near a market?

By choosing a geographic area as the notification's target, the town or the district, rather than every user.

Can stalls share a loyalty card?

Yes. One Loyalty card, one QR code placed on every stall: shoppers complete the same card with every producer. They need an account, hence Authentication; both extensions are paid.

Can each producer post their own news?

They send it through the app's form, with photos; the association reviews and publishes it.

Is Premium enough for a producers' association?

Yes for the map, the agenda and notifications. The members' area also needs Authentication and User groups, already contained in Pro.
