Build a conference app
Conference app for professional associations: the congress program, then replays for members only
During the congress, attendees follow the program and the live plenary; afterwards, your members find the workshop replays in a section that opens for them alone.
A federation, a professional body or a trade association equips itself with a native app, designed without programming: the congress and seminar program, the speakers, the plenary streamed live for everyone, and replays and slides reserved for members by group.

Replays, reserved for your members
A video section that only the Members group can open
After the congress, publish the recording of each workshop in a video section reserved for the Members group, and the speakers' slides in an article section that is reserved too. The app becomes the members' space, one more benefit of belonging to the association: a signed-in member sees everything, other attendees see the program and the news. Each member creates an account, and your team adds it to the group in the back office after checking the membership.

The congress program, day by day
Plenaries, workshops, speakers and rooms in the Agenda
Each congress session is an event: time, room, abstract, speakers. A section of articles introduces each speaker, with a photo and their topics. Attendees favorite the workshops that concern them and save them to their phone's calendar. A speaker is replaced at the last minute? You correct the listing, with nothing to reprint.

The plenary live, open to everyone
Live Video for anyone who couldn't make the trip
Your filming provider sends the feed, the Live Video section broadcasts it: the opening session and the plenary can be watched by anyone who has installed the app. It is the congress's shop window; the workshop replays, for their part, stay with the members. Between broadcasts, the section shows an image and a short text, such as the time of the next plenary.

Before, during, after: the congress in three stages in the app
What you publish at each moment, from the same back office.
Before
The program in the Agenda, speaker profiles, a form to sign up for free workshops.During
The plenary live, a push when a room changes, questions to speakers through a form. After
Replays and slides in the members' sections, announced by a push to the group. All year round
Regional seminars, news from the profession and the call for papers for next year's edition.
An app for the whole year, not just three days
Seminars, news from the profession, messages to members
Between two congresses, the app keeps the link alive: regional seminars in the Agenda, news from the profession in articles, reference documents reserved for the Members group. A push aimed at that group announces a new reserved publication; another, sent to everyone, opens the call for papers for the next congress.

AI for your association and its congress
Two ways to use AI, price included.
To publish
Replays announced from your AI assistant
Via the MCP server, your usual AI assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, publishes the article that goes with a workshop replay and notifies the Members group, once you have confirmed.
Included
To guide
A congress guide that answers questions
“Which room is the workshop on the reform in? Who is speaking on Thursday?” The Chatbot relies on the sessions, articles and speaker profiles, and answers each person in their own language.
$35/month

Extension Store
An association and its congress use Authentication with User groups to reserve the replays, the Videos section, Agenda, Live Video, push, the Form, then MCP at no cost and the Chatbot for a fee.
The cost of a conference app
Premium gives the association its iPhone and Android apps, live streaming included. Reserving replays for members means adding User groups and Authentication; Pro has both from day one, along with more storage for videos. Bandwidth, for its part, is never billed.
| Premium · stores and Live Video streaming | $55 /month, billed yearly |
| User groups, with Premium | $5 /month |
| Authentication, with Premium | $12 /month |
| Pro · Groups and Authentication included, more storage | $105 /month, billed yearly |
Dues and paid registrations are handled outside the app. On top: enrollment in Apple's and Google's developer programs.
Conference app: questions from professional associations
Who can watch the workshop replays?
The association's members, and only them: the app is their space, and the replays are among the benefits of membership. An attendee who isn't a member keeps the program, the news and the live plenary.
Can the live plenary be reserved for members?
No. A live stream is, by principle, for everyone who has the app; what you can reserve are the sections where you then publish the replays and slides.
Can attendees sign up for workshops in the app?
Yes, for free workshops: each person ticks their workshops in a form, every answer lands in your inbox and the whole list downloads as CSV. No capacity is managed, and paid congress registration stays on your platform.
Can we tell several categories of members apart?
Yes: create one group per category, members, board, partners, and open the right sections to each. The same person can belong to several groups.
What budget for an association's conference app?
A Premium plan, live streaming included, and two options for the reserved replays: Authentication and User groups. Pro builds them in from the start. The Chatbot costs extra, MCP access does not.
Do video replays push up a bandwidth bill?
No, GoodBarber doesn't bill bandwidth. What changes from one plan to another is storage, more generous on Pro.
