Travel agency app: appointments with your advisors and group trips
A couple books an hour with your Japan specialist. Thirty travelers reserve a spot at the pre-departure meeting. A notification tells your clients in Andalusia about the bus strike.
Without writing code, give your agency its own iOS and Android app: appointments with each advisor, a pre-departure meeting with limited seats, a members-only section for every group, offers removed on their end date and targeted notifications, which your AI assistant can send too.

Honeymoon in Japan
A couple books an hour with Ines, your Japan specialist: her appointment section shows her open slots. The form collects the destination, the dates, the number of travelers and the budget, and Ines uses the answers to prepare two proposals before the appointment.
See appointment bookingThe pre-departure meeting
Thirty travelers leave for Japan in April. The week of the meeting, you publish its section, open to their group only: one slot on Thursday at 6 p.m. with thirty seats, and the app displays the remaining ones. The next day, you unpublish it.
See user groupsStrike in Seville
Seville's buses are on strike tomorrow. You draw a zone around Andalusia on the map, and the notification goes to the clients who are there and have location turned on; it opens your "Traveler updates" section, where an article lists your partner taxis and the local guide's address.
See push notificationsA group trip in three stages
From sign-up to the return home: a members-only section, a meeting, news during the stay.
The group and its section
Create the "Japan April" group and a section that only its travelers can see: the day-by-day program, the practical guide, the list of documents to bring, the PDFs that apply to everyone. Each traveler creates an account in the app (Authentication extension); add them to the group as soon as they sign up, by hand in the back office or from your own tools with Zapier or Make. The pre-departure meeting
An appointment section with a set number of seats, open to the group only: everyone books a seat, then gets a confirmation and a reminder. One booking holds one seat, and one email address can book the slot just once, so a couple makes two bookings with two addresses. The form is the one your advisors' appointments use, so pick questions that work for both.During the trip
A section built with the AI Extension Builder highlights the current day of the program, and your AI assistant notifies only the group concerned through MCP: "Japan April: meet at 7 a.m. in the hotel lobby."
Your app, itinerary software or the agency website?
Three tools, three roles: what each one does for a travel agency.
| Your GoodBarber app | Itinerary software | Agency website | |
|---|---|---|---|
| A native app in your agency's colors | Yes, iOS and Android | Depends on the offer | No |
| Online appointments with the advisor for the destination | Yes, one calendar per advisor | Depends on the offer | Depends on the site |
| A section and notifications for a single group | Yes, user groups and MCP | Depends on the offer | Depends on the site |
| Offers removed on their end date | Yes | Depends on the offer | Depends on the site |
| Each traveler's personal itinerary | No | Yes, that is its job | Depends on the site |
| Deposit payment | No, outside the app | Depends on the offer | Depends on the site |
What an agency puts in its app
Your offers, with an end date
Each offer is an article with a publication end date: the fall break deal leaves the app on the planned day, without anyone having to remember it.
Destination events
An Iceland evening on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with a guest photographer: the Agenda announces it, an appointment section with limited seats, published the week of the event, takes the sign-ups, and a scheduled notification reminds everyone the day before.
A page for each advisor
Their photo, favorite destinations and the languages they speak, next to their appointment section: clients choose the person before the time slot.
Practical guides
Time difference, plug types, customs and tipping: your guides for each destination, and for visas and vaccinations, a link to your country's official foreign affairs website.
Meeting points
The agency, the airport drop-off area, the tour bus stop: each one has its point on the app's map.
Back from the trip
Travelers share their favorite photos through the Submission Section and rate their stay in a form: material for the group's slideshow evening.
Tools from the Store
Currency converter, Weather, Countdown to departure: extensions ready to install, with no code to write.
AI in your travel agency
Three concrete uses: a program that follows the trip, answers to practical questions, tasks handed to your assistant.
To build
The program that highlights the right day
Link your program's article section, one article per day, to a section built with the AI Extension Builder, then describe what it should do: it highlights the current day based on the trip dates. Tested by our team on the program of a group trip to Japan. There is no settings panel: the dates are written in your request, and for the next trip you make the request again with its dates.
Free
To answer
A Chatbot for practical questions
"Do I need a plug adapter in Japan?", "What should I bring to the appointment?": the Chatbot answers from the content you let it read, in the language of the question. It ignores user groups, so give it only content that is open to everyone; otherwise it could quote a section reserved for one group.
$35/month
To operate
Sign-ups and group alerts from Claude or ChatGPT
With MCP, your AI assistant reads who signed up for Thursday's meeting and their form answers, then sends the notification to the "Japan April" group alone. You approve, it runs the task and tells you what it did.
Included
Extension Store
Extensions a travel agency will use. Authentication, User groups and Appointment booking: three paid options with Premium, all part of Pro; the Chatbot has its own price; the AI Extension Builder, MCP and push notifications cost nothing.

Travel agencies: questions about the app
Which travel agency app builder should I choose?
Choose based on what you need the app to do. GoodBarber lets you build a branded iOS, Android and web app without code: clients book appointments with your advisors, open their group's section and receive push notifications. For individual itineraries linked to your bookings, use dedicated itinerary software alongside the app. If you mainly run day tours, see the day tour page instead.
How much does a travel agency app cost?
You need the Premium plan and three extensions, Authentication, User groups and Appointment booking, or else the Pro plan, which contains them. The price box above shows the amounts in your currency, and the pricing page has every detail.
Can clients book a trip or pay a deposit in the app?
No. Appointment booking reserves time with you, or a seat at a meeting or an evening, with no payment at all. Selling the trip, the contract and the deposit go through your usual tools.
Does the app connect to Amadeus, Sabre or my itinerary software?
No, GoodBarber does not connect to GDSs or to agency booking software. If your itinerary software creates a link to the traveler's itinerary, send that link to your client as usual; the app keeps what applies to a whole group.
How do I offer a pre-departure meeting on a single date?
Appointment slots repeat every week. For a one-off meeting, publish its section the week of the meeting, with a single slot and the number of seats you need, then unpublish it once the meeting is over.
Can the booking form change from one advisor to another?
No: one form serves all your appointment sections. Ask questions that are useful everywhere, such as the destination in mind, the dates and the number of travelers, and keep the rest for the appointment itself.
How do I notify only the travelers in one group?
Through your AI assistant connected to MCP, which is the standard way: it sends the notification to the members of the "Japan April" group only. The back office can target a zone drawn on the map, but it reaches every client there who has location turned on, group members or not.
Can I upload each traveler's tickets to the app?
No: a group section shows the same documents to all its members. Personal tickets and vouchers stay in your emails or your itinerary software. Don't ask for passport copies in a form either: handle them through your usual channels.
Does the app replace the documents required for package travel?
No. The information you owe clients before the sale, the contract and your other legal obligations as a travel seller stay in your usual documents. The app complements them: it keeps the program, appointments and instructions at hand, and tells the group when something changes.
GoodBarber brings your advisors' appointments, your groups and your offers together in a native app under your agency's name
An app for before, during and after the trip, which leaves sales, payments and personal itineraries to your usual tools.
